Despite not catfishing on-screen during her appearance on The Circle Season 6, Cassie Taylor has engaged in the practice off-screen.
The addictive nature of The Circle can be attributed to the fact that a majority of the contestants are often catfishing.
Throughout Season 6, there are numerous instances of people catfishing, such as a woman pretending to be a popular singer and a man portraying himself as a heavier version of himself.
Despite the familiarity of these lies and deception, one Season 6 star in particular may experience a Deja vu moment.
On April 23, Parade interviewed Cassie Saylor after her elimination from The Circle and she revealed how she successfully tricked her ex-husband (who was her husband at the time of the catfish) into discovering his own infidelity.
“I created a fake profile and messaged him on Facebook, successfully deceiving him. The charade lasted for three weeks until I confronted him with, ‘Do you have something to tell me?’ He denied it, claiming he had never heard of the girl. So I said, ‘Are you sure? What’s her name?’ To which he replied, ‘Nope, never heard of her.’ That’s when I revealed the truth and said, ‘It’s actually me,’ she confessed to the outlet.”
Despite her previous marriage, Cassie was able to bounce back with ease, as evidenced by the fact that her hometown gave her an official day to commemorate her reality TV debut.
