The Consequences of Coming Out of the Cave Too Late for Hyeri, Han So-hee, and Ryu Jun-yeol

After two months of silence, popular actor Ryu Jun-yeol finally addressed the scandals surrounding him. During a press conference for the OTT drama “The 8 Show” on May 10th, he explained,”I chose to remain silent and withstand criticism rather than addressing each issue individually.”It seems that he was worried about his personal life overshadowing his work, as he expressed a desire to discuss the controversies in a personal interview and shed light on the rumors surrounding his romantic relationships and involvement in greenwashing practices.

It is possible that Ryu Jun-yeol felt a sense of injustice and shame, questioning why he should be made to feel guilty without having done anything wrong. The personal feelings and interactions between individuals are private and if it had not been a public incident, it would have remained even more confidential. The phrase “What do you know?”may have been uttered in this scenario.

Hyeri’s comment of “Interesting”caused quite a commotion in the entertainment industry for more than a month, bringing to light some of Han So-hee’s impulsiveness and true nature, leaving many puzzled. Some may have questioned why Ryu Jun-yeol did not intervene when Han So-hee climbed into the ring. Was he simply respecting her decision?

Despite possibly receiving advice that “This too shall pass,”persuasion was likely unsuccessful. Eventually, Han So-hee also posted about her disappointment in Ryu Jun-yeol, and, as expected, they decided to end their relationship shortly after returning from their trip to Hawaii. They even continued to act flirtatiously upon returning to Seoul for their roles as leads in director Han Jae-rim’s new project, but it all ended up being futile.

Despite the transient nature of life, people tend to forget things over time. This was the case with the public’s reaction to Ryu Jun-yeol.
