The Elusive Samurai Episode 3 Recap
During episode 3 of The Elusive Samurai, Yorishige, Tokiyuki, and their companions embark on a journey together. As Tokiyuki reminisces about his initial battle, he expresses gratitude towards his fellow warriors for their assistance in defeating Muneshige. A few days later, Yorishige eavesdrops on a conversation discussing Tokiyuki’s dedication but lack of drive to study. Using his divine abilities, he disperses the clouds and leads a chant among the warriors of the Suwa Sect. He assures Tokiyuki that having faith in him will garner more support. Though hesitant, Tokiyuki eventually concedes to studying.
Yorishige advises Tokiyuki to gather retainers and emphasizes their importance. To put his advice into action, Tokiyuki, Kojiro, Ayako, and Shizuku go on a hunting trip. However, their plans are interrupted when they come across an ox demon. After retreating, they devise a strategy and successfully defeat the demon. To commemorate their victory, they relax at a hot spring and decide to call themselves the “Elusive Warriors.”Later on, they stumble upon Yorishige feasting on the ox demon. The episode concludes with a group of men making plans to confront Yorishige in Suwa.
