As the Battle of the Strongest commences at Jujutsu High, Gojo, Shoko, and Ijichi are struck with a sense of sorrow as they reflect on the loss of their comrades. Gojo is in disbelief over the death of Nanami, whom he had always perceived as invincible. Ijichi can’t help but feel guilty for being one of the survivors, but Gojo offers him reassurance as they prepare for the daunting challenge ahead.

Taking advantage of the upcoming fight, Mei Mei develops an online game that allows people to place bets on Gojo’s battle against Sukuna. She also earns a portion of the profits from selling pay-per-view broadcasts, while Yuji and Kusakabe engage in their own fight. In the meantime, Yuta and Inumaki discuss whether they should keep Toge’s injury from Sukuna a secret to protect Yuji.

Uraume presents Sukuna with three of his fingers and expresses remorse for being unable to locate the final one. Sukuna reassures him, stating that he believes Gojo deliberately withheld it in order to give Yuji extra time. Despite still feeling the effects of Gojo’s attack, Uraume finds it difficult to accept their defeat.

The stage is now set in Shinjuku for Gojo and Sukuna’s highly anticipated showdown. Sukuna has prepared himself for battle with the help of Uraume and Kenjaku, while Kenjaku sets out to eliminate the remaining players of the Culling Game. The ultimate clash between the two strongest beings in the Jujutsu Kaisen world is about to commence.

At the top of a skyscraper in Shinjuku, Sukuna and Uraume wait. They discuss the location of their duel, which had not been decided. Sukuna is confident that the battlefield will reveal itself once Gojo’s immense cursed energy is detected. From a distance, he sends his energy flying to meet Gojo.

Gojo unleashes a 200% Hollow Purple attack

Utahime performs the Solo Forbidden Area ceremony, which amplifies the cursed energy of both Gojo and his companions.

Gojo unleashes the devastating 200% Hollow Purple attack, which not only inflicts damage on Sukuna’s reinforced arms but also causes a nearby skyscraper to topple. This unexpected turn of events catches Sukuna by surprise, prompting him to use the reverse of the Cursed Technique to regenerate. Thus begins the epic clash between the most powerful sorcerer of all time and the current reigning champion.

Gojo manipulates the environment with Blue

During the intense battle, Gojo utilizes his Blue technique to control the surroundings in order to gain an upper hand. At a certain moment, Gojo’s powerful gravitational force causes Sukuna to collide with a nearby building.

Despite Sukuna’s successful recovery on the walkway bridge, Gojo continues to impede his movement by destroying the bridge and hurling the debris at him using Blue. Sukuna swiftly evades the attack and quickly heads towards the rooftops, preparing to unleash his Dismantle technique.

Collision between Gojo and Sukuna’s Domains Results in Building Destruction

In a later event in the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline, Sukuna employs domain amplification as the building they are battling in begins to crumble. Gojo counters by lifting Sukuna into the collapsing structure. The two engage in a fierce clash, channeling their cursed energy to unleash devastating attacks.

As they launch their attack, the building is torn to shreds. Despite the destruction, both sorcerers emerge unscathed from the rubble. Gojo is reminded that Mei Mei had broadcasted the fight, potentially adding to the intensity of the situation.

Sorcerers Respond to Sukuna’s Domain Amplification

In another part of the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline, the Sorcerers of Jujutsu High come together to witness Mei Mei’s live stream of the fight between Gojo and Sukuna. They discuss Sukuna’s ability to amplify his domain and how it was unexpected for someone to successfully break through Gojo’s Infinity.

Choso reveals that Sukuna is capable of extending his domain without closing the barrier, causing astonishment among numerous sorcerers who have never witnessed such a phenomenon.

As the intensity of the battle escalates in the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline, both Gojo and Sukuna expand their domains at the same time. The intersection of their formidable domains, Unlimited Void and Malevolent Shrine, ensures that attacks will land within Gojo’s barrier.

Despite Gojo’s barrier, Sukuna’s domain still encompasses it, allowing him to launch attacks from outside. Sukuna’s mastery of his domain breaks through Unlimited Void, and he delivers a powerful strike to Gojo with his blade.

With the Unlimited Void now shattered, Sukuna’s cursed technique finally catches up with Gojo in the later events of the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline. This leads to Hajime Kashimo becoming increasingly frustrated with Sukuna’s unparalleled power and adaptability, even going so far as to compare it to Gojo’s own Six Eyes technique.

As their domains expanded at the same time, Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine shattered Gojo’s barrier and fused with his neck. His companions feared the situation could worsen, as Gojo’s healing may not be enough to stop Sukuna’s relentless attacks.

As Gojo attempts to flee from Sukuna’s domain, Sukuna successfully catches him and forces him into a hand-to-hand combat position. In an attempt to defend himself, Gojo activates a basic domain, but Sukuna continuously breaks through, causing more injuries and raising fears of Gojo’s potential defeat.

Gojo restores his technique and turns the tide

In the later events of the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline, Gojo swiftly closes the distance between himself and Sukuna using Blue, and then launches a counterattack using the Reverse Cursed Technique, Red.

This sudden shift, brought about by the power of the reverse cursed technique, left everyone astonished as they had believed Gojo’s disadvantage to be insurmountable. Once again, he regained the upper hand in the battle.

Sukuna Uses Gojo’s Barrier to His Advantage

Sukuna disables the sure-hit effect of the Malevolent Shrine in order to take advantage of a vulnerability in Gojo’s domain. He expands the scope of the shrine’s power and employs a binding vow to alter the barrier’s parameters. This causes Gojo’s barrier to once again crumble, leaving him vulnerable to an unrelenting onslaught of slashes in the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline.

Gojo modifies his domain in response to Sukuna’s attack strategy. He employs Falling Blossom Emotion to minimize the impact of the attacks, and then drastically reduces the size of his domain to counter Sukuna’s advantage in attack range, despite the potential risk to the barrier’s stability.

Sorcerers Discuss Gojo’s Barrier Innovation

Gojo’s comrades, such as Kusakabe and Maki, were amazed by his ability to shrink his barrier. In the context of Jujutsu Kaisen, they speculate that Gojo’s time spent in the Prison Realm may have allowed him to achieve this feat. Meanwhile, Kusakabe was perplexed by Gojo’s adeptness in altering the barrier’s conditions.

Sukuna’s Disassembly of Gojo’s Miniature Barrier

Sukuna alters his strategy in response to Gojo’s mini barrier, utilizing Malevolent Shrine with shorter range but more powerful slashes. Despite initially withstanding the attack, Gojo’s barrier eventually crumbles, resulting in the destruction of both the barrier and Sukuna’s domain.

Gojo gains an advantage outside the domains

For the first time, Gojo engages in a fight with Sukuna outside the domains and successfully pushes him back with precise attacks. Gojo becomes concerned when he realizes that Sukuna has yet to use his innate techniques outside the domain. He becomes even more worried when he notices Sukuna’s strange use of Mahoraga’s wheel and a sudden nosebleed, wondering what Sukuna’s true intentions may be.

Gojo and Sukuna expand domains simultaneously again

In the timeline of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo and Sukuna continue to expand their domains. This serves as evidence that Sukuna is capable of reconstructing his technique using reverse cursed technique, as he observed Gojo’s abilities.

Upon Gojo’s allies arriving, they each displayed different reactions to the situation at hand. Shoko confidently asserts that Gojo has the ability to emerge victorious as long as he is able to inflict significant damage on Sukuna within the designated time frame.

Mahoraga’s Unexpected Intervention

As the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline progresses, Gojo’s exceptional fighting abilities surpass Sukuna in these areas. With his domain evolving slightly faster, Gojo is able to deliver the final blow by crushing Sukuna’s heart and gaining the advantage in their confrontation.

Despite Gojo’s attempt to defeat Sukuna, Mahoraga is unexpectedly summoned within Unlimited Void and is able to disrupt Gojo’s attack. Despite Mahoraga’s seemingly early response, the domain is shattered, leaving Gojo stunned and unable to understand how Mahoraga was able to achieve this.

Despite the Unlimited Void’s attempts to harm Sukuna, Zenin’s shikigami Mahoraga intervenes and saves him. Gojo is impressed by Mahoraga’s quick adaptation and attempts to reason with him. However, he eventually discovers that Megumi’s soul had been enduring damage from the Unlimited Void in order to allow Mahoraga to adapt.

Gojo restores and lands a powerful punch

Despite his attempts, Gojo was unable to expand his domain due to the internal damage he sustained. Sukuna’s actions demonstrate the severity of Gojo’s brain injury, as he recklessly used the reverse cursed technique and pushed Gojo to his limits, leaving him frail within the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline.

Despite Sukuna’s injuries and domain issue continuing to affect him, Gojo suddenly gains renewed energy and delivers a powerful punch. This was his opportunity to demonstrate his strength and unwavering determination to show Sukuna that the battle was far from finished.

Countdown to Mahoraga’s adaptation

In the future of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo foresees that Mahoraga will fully master his Infinity in precisely three turns of the wheel. When Sukuna threatens him, Gojo confidently declares that he will defeat Sukuna before this happens, causing his comrades to wonder if Gojo is more determined to defeat Sukuna than to rescue Megumi.

Gojo astonishes Sukuna when his Red attack finally penetrates. He then delivers a powerful Black Flash, successfully knocking Sukuna to the ground. However, Sukuna quickly bounces back as Mahoraga has now become accustomed to the Infinity. Emerging from his previous injury, Sukuna slashes Gojo and pulls him into his own shadow.

Gojo Battles Mahoraga

Sukuna’s Rabbit’s Escape and other shikigami help him gain an advantage over Gojo in their fight during the same timeline as Jujutsu Kaisen. Despite Gojo’s enjoyment of the challenge, his friends are concerned when Mahoraga’s Sword of Extermination causes him pain and his cursed energy starts to diminish.

Gojo responds with a powerful combination, utilizing Cursed Technique Reversal: Red. In retaliation, Sukuna unleashes Piercing Blood imitation, summoning additional shikigami to outnumber Gojo. Despite this, Gojo prepares to use the Hollow Technique: Purple to defeat them all.

Despite being severely engaged with both Mahoraga and Agito, Gojo remains determined. Despite losing his right arm to Mahoraga’s attack, his focus shifts to defeating Agito with a powerful Blue technique that ultimately brings him down. After Agito’s defeat, Gojo begins regenerating his arm and prepares for the intense final stages of the fight.

Hollow Technique: Effects of Purple on the Battlefield

In the later events of the Jujutsu Kaisen timeline, Gojo successfully replenishes his cursed energy, regenerates his arm, and prepares to use Black Flash in combination with Cursed Technique Reversal: Red. He pretends to shoot Red into the air, but instead utilizes the Blue orb to boost his agility. This tactics renders it impossible for Sukuna to launch a counterattack.

Upon unleashing the Hollow Technique: Purple, Gojo caused a massive explosion in Shinjuku that completely obliterated the area, including Mahoraga. As a result, Sukuna sustained severe injuries and lost his left hand. In comparison, Gojo remained relatively unaffected by the technique.

In chapter 236 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo’s mind enters a limbo-like state where he reunites with his deceased friend, Suguru Geto. As he contemplates his recent battle with Sukuna, Gojo is satisfied with his efforts and accepts the solitude that comes with great power. He takes solace in the fact that he could meet an honorable end in death.

Sukuna reveals that in reality, Gojo was killed by a Dismantle attack that was able to bypass his Infinity. Despite recognizing Gojo as a formidable adversary, Sukuna left his body brutally bisected. The next scene shows Hajime Kashimo preparing to confront Sukuna, fully aware of his inevitable defeat in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Sukuna vs Hajime Kashimo

Hakari traps Uraume within his realm, ensuring that Kashimo and Sukuna can engage in a one-on-one battle without any interference from Uraume, as per Hakari’s orders.

Despite appearing with a double of the cursed tool Kamutoke, Sukuna’s plans are thwarted by Kashimo’s immunity to lightning. Kashimo’s immense power results in Sukuna’s brutal defeat. In preparation for the intense battle ahead in Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna fully reincarnates into his body.

Sukuna’s True Form Revealed

In his most powerful and hideous form, Sukuna possesses four arms and two mouths. In this state, he is able to effortlessly execute hand signs and incantations with incredible proficiency.

Despite Sukuna’s unmatched physical and strategic strength, Kamutoke and Hiten take a moment to reflect on the victories of the Heian Era. As Kashimo observes Sukuna’s form, he proclaims it to be a perfect embodiment of the cursed power in Jujustu Kaisen.

The Demise of Kenjaku in the Jujutsu Kaisen Timeline

Similarly, in Jujutsu Kaisen, Kenjaku utilizes a curse stone to banish an incarnated player to oblivion at Lake Gosho Colony, demonstrating his indifference towards their well-being and his ability to track them through cursed objects. Additionally, he confronts Iori Hazenoki, inflicts him with curses, and employs his Reverse Cursed Technique.

Kenjaku is taken aback when Fumihiko Takaba manages to survive the brutal attack during their fight. He finds it both amusing and noteworthy that Takaba was able to survive.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Kenjaku uses cursed spirits to attack Takaba. Although initially surprised, Takaba remains resilient and even uses his comedic abilities to further provoke Kenjaku. However, Kenjaku soon realizes that Takaba’s technique only works when he is confident and tries to break his confidence through criticism. As Kenjaku’s attacks intensify, Fumihiko begins to falter.

Despite losing his confidence, Takaba manages to regain it and activate his technique, successfully exorcising Kenjaku’s summoned spirit with the help of a truck. The intense fight is interrupted by comedic scenes, during which Kenjaku comes to the realization that Takaba’s apparent damage is merely an illusion.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, there is a comic scene where Takaba’s technique is abruptly ended, resulting in Kenjaku being ambushed and decapitated by Yuta. Despite being aware of the jujutsu sorcerers’ scheming ways, Kenjaku is left mourning his failure, but he still declares that his will remains strong.

Sukuna Battles Jujutsu Sorcerers

Sukuna vs Hiromi Higuruma

In his Domain Expansion, Higuruma holds a trial for Sukuna with the intention of proving his guilt for the Shibuya massacre. Sukuna is ultimately convicted and sentenced to “Confiscation”and “Death Penalty,”though this punishment only results in the loss of his cursed tool and not the technique itself in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. Despite Higuruma’s defense tactics and sacrificial determination, Sukuna prevails with his formidable attacks, leaving Yuji in a critical state.

Despite attempting to use Domain Amplification and the Executioner’s Sword multiple times, Higuruma is continuously defeated. Sukuna’s brutal assault results in Higuruma losing his limbs, but with the assistance of Yuji, he is able to gain the upper hand at one moment. Ultimately, in a brave act, he sacrifices himself to buy time for Yuji to deliver a final, decisive strike against Sukuna.

Sukuna vs Rika – The Battle of Curses

In a later scene of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuta and Rika team up to attack Sukuna. When Rika throws Sukuna into a building, the ground caves in. Sukuna quickly recognizes Rika and becomes even more enthusiastic in their engagement.

Despite Yuta and Rika’s attempt to defeat Sukuna by using Yuta’s katana and Domain Expansion: Authentic Mutual Love, Sukuna quickly counters with Hollow Wicker Basket. He was aware that their strategy was meant to nullify his powers and leave him vulnerable to Yuji’s attacks.

Yuta utilizes Cleave to wound Sukuna, demonstrating that the King of Curses from Jujutsu Kaisen still has not regained his final finger. Sukuna responds with a fierce counterattack, resulting in a serious injury to Yuji and prompting another assault on the jujutsu sorcerers.

Yuji and Yuta’s Strategy to Extract Sukuna from Megumi

Despite Yuji’s blood blinding Sukuna, Yuta manages to successfully slice off one of Sukuna’s hands in Jujutsu Kaisen. While their best efforts temporarily impede Sukuna from unleashing his world-cutting Dismantle, Yuji’s realization about Megumi’s soul ultimately disrupts their strategy.

Yuta releases Maximum Output: Jacob’s Ladder and defeats Sukuna. As Yuji attempts to revive Megumi’s dormant soul, Sukuna retaliates and delivers a powerful blow. Just when Sukuna believes he has emerged victorious, Maki Zenin interrupts the battle and strikes Sukuna from behind with the Split Soul Katana, turning the tide of the fight.

Maki Zenin vs Sukuna

During the battle against Sukuna inside the Domain, Yuta and Yuji face difficulties. In response, Kusakabe and Ino come up with an external plan involving Maki launching a surprise attack when Yuta signals by breaking a section of the Domain’s barrier. Maki prepares for her part in this intricate strategy.

Once Yuta gives the signal, Maki initiates an assault on Sukuna, who quickly realizes that it is merely a diversionary tactic. Sukuna is writhing in pain from the wound inflicted by the Split Soul Katana, which is further compounded by his previous battle and his limited ability to utilize the reverse cursed technique.

Despite being injured and unable to heal, Yuji refuses to give up as he confronts Sukuna in an attempt to save Megumi in Jujutsu Kaisen. The battle between Maki and Sukuna rages on, with the two fiercely clashing in the midst of Shinjuku City. Despite the strength of Sukuna’s attacks, Maki skillfully evades them.

Despite Maki’s friends, Ino and Kusakabe, attempting to stop him, Sukuna uses his tunnel combination of a car explosion and a Cleave to injure Maki with a Black Flash and demonstrate his extreme hatred for jujutsu. This incident causes Kusakabe to realize the gravity of the situation and he decides to confront Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Sukuna vs. Atsuya Kusakabe: A Battle of Power and Skill

Ultimately, Sukuna is confronted by Miguel and Larue, two of Suguru Geto’s previous associates, who engage him in close combat, utilizing their cursed technique to exploit his weakened condition.

Sukuna delivers a powerful Black Flash attack to Larue, immediately restoring his reverse cursed technique output and completely shifting the momentum of the battle. He proceeds to overpower Larue, Maki, and Choso one by one with a second, third, and fourth Black Flash.

Yuji is able to utilize his newly awakened cursed technique, Shrine, to unleash a barrage of Black Flashes that successfully rip Sukuna apart for the first time in Jujutsu Kaisen. With the assistance of Ino, who summons Ryu, and Nanami’s blunt sword, they are able to briefly interrupt Sukuna’s movements. This brief pause allows Yuji to land a powerful Black Flash on Sukuna.

Yuji delivers a barrage of seven consecutive Black Flashes, pushing Sukuna, the King of Curses, to his breaking point.

In order to overpower Sukuna, Todo enhances his cursed technique by integrating a vibraslap, allowing him to execute a maximum of 50 swaps per second. Mei Mei and Todo collaborate to come up with a strategy that uses the swapping technique to rescue the sorcerers trapped inside Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine.

As the ultimate showdown unfolds, Todo’s carefully devised plan is already in motion. Sukuna is thrown off by the sudden change in pace, giving Yuji a prime opportunity to successfully execute the Black Flash technique on his archenemy.

Flashback of Gojo and Yuta’s Discussion on Defeating Sukuna

Yuta makes it known to the other Jujutsu Kaisen characters before the final battle that he plans on transferring his brain into Gojo’s body as a final option to defeat Sukuna. Despite being aware of the potential dangers and ethical implications, Yuta is determined to do whatever it takes to win the battle.

At the Jujutsu Headquarters, Gojo consents to Yuta’s proposal and makes arrangements for his body to be used in the final battle against Sukuna.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuta’s successful transplantation of his brain into Gojo’s body catches Sukuna by surprise, marking a crucial turning point in the battle. As Yuta and Sukuna both unleash their Domain Expansions, the clash between Unlimited Void and Malevolent Shrine signals the beginning of their final showdown.

Yuta and Sukuna both decrease the size of their domains, forcing them into a fight to determine the winner within three minutes. As they engage in hand-to-hand combat, Sukuna’s Domain Amplification catches Yuta off guard by physically affecting him within the domain. This also reveals that Yuta is capable of utilizing Domain Amplification.

Despite Yuta’s unsuccessful attempt at correctly executing Gojo’s Limitless, a heated argument ensues in which Sukuna restrains him from resorting to using Hollow Purple. In a strategic move, Yuta utilizes Toge Inumaki’s Cursed Speech to immobilize Sukuna and ultimately delivers the final blow with Hollow Purple, all while pulling in a voice recorder with Blue.

Yuji unleashes a binding vow on Dismantle at the border of Sukuna and Megumi’s soul, causing Sukuna to feel increasing pressure to act. In order to regain control and repair the damage to his soul, Sukuna is forced to consume his fingers.

Despite Sukuna’s efforts to maintain control, Yuji manages to hold back his attack. With the help of Todo’s well-timed Boogie Woogie, Hana Kurusu is teleported into position to launch Jacob’s Ladder with maximum power in Jujutsu Kaisen. This desperate move is aimed at separating Sukuna and Megumi’s souls and breaking Sukuna’s hold, giving the Jujutsu High sorcerers the advantage.

While Hana’s Jacob’s Ladder descends upon Sukuna, Yuji collapses the ground beneath him to support her. Sukuna takes advantage of this and begins climbing the rubble to escape the attack. In the midst of this, he also threatens Yuji and Todo.

Todo’s Sacrifice: Blocking Sukuna’s Lethal Punch

In a later episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, Todo makes a brave sacrifice to block Sukuna’s deadly punch aimed at Hana, showcasing his true strength as a sorcerer.

Unfortunately, it also left him and Hana immobilized. Sukuna proceeded to engage Yuji in a direct battle. Despite suffering multiple blows, Sukuna regenerates his previously lost hands and resumes his assault on Yuji.

Yuji’s First Domain Expansion Unleashed

As the intensity of the fight increases, Sukuna relies on the Hollow Wicker Basket for defense as he works to regain his cursed technique. Despite Sukuna’s immense strength and fury, Yuji notices a vulnerability when Megumi’s lingering soul finally aids him in disrupting Sukuna’s balance. This leads to an even more fierce battle as Yuji takes advantage of Megumi’s presence to strike at Sukuna until he readies himself for another Domain Expansion.

Sukuna immediately notices Yuji’s injured arm and decides to employ Gojo’s technique to regenerate his abilities in anticipation of a potential counterattack. The focus then shifts to Sukuna’s finger being manipulated elsewhere, as this is the pivotal moment in the story.

Sukuna’s Attempt to Crush Megumi’s Will

Sukuna taunts Megumi about his past failures and the loss of his sister in Jujutsu Kaisen, in an attempt to break his will. He then arrogantly tells Megumi to leave everything to him. However, Megumi retaliates by pointing out Sukuna’s fear of dying, as obtaining the last finger would render him nothing more than a cursed object.

Megumi acknowledges his desire to live for the sake of others rather than himself, a departure from his previous intention to live aimlessly. This inner struggle showcases his acceptance of his destiny and determination to pursue a greater purpose beyond himself.

Despite Sukuna’s defeat in Jujutsu Kaisen, Uraume expresses regret, stating that their victory was purely due to luck. Uraume acknowledges that Sukuna’s weakened state after a thousand years played a role, but Hakari highlights the importance of utilizing luck as a skill. Uraume then disappears as the scene shifts to Jujutsu Tech, where Megumi awakens to the surprise of Yuji and Nobara.

Yuji and Megumi share their reactions to Gojo’s letters with each other. Yuji admits that Nobara destroyed her letter because she did not want to learn about her mother, while Megumi finds his letter amusing since Gojo had disclosed that he was responsible for his father’s death.
