The second episode of Fable and all subsequent episodes of season 1 will be accessible on Hulu for viewers in the United States.

A summary of The Fable season 1, episode 1
The first episode of Fable featured the main hitman completing his most recent assignment, which involved eliminating a group of infamous criminals involved in human trafficking. Following the job, Youko, Fable’s partner, picked him up and the hitman expressed a desire to relax and watch his favorite comedy show, Mr. Jackal, which always brought him immense joy.
Following a meeting with their boss, Fable and Youko provided him with a report on the mission’s success. Due to the increasing tension in the city caused by Fable’s killing of 71 individuals, the boss advised them to stay out of the spotlight and lay low in Osaka for a year.
Their boss ensured that everything was taken care of, even providing them with fake licenses, insurance cards, and enough money for their stay. Fable and Youko’s boss wanted to guarantee their peace of mind during their time in Osaka, as he had an arrangement with a secretive organization there.
The boss warned the two that if they deviated from the protocol, they would face serious consequences. Once all of his equipment and weapons were disposed of, Fable and Youko set off for Osaka.
Despite being warned by the latter to avoid any trouble, the former got into a minor scuffle with two burglars while stopping at a store. Youko initially had doubts about Fable blending in with regular people as Akira Satou, but was ultimately impressed when he spoke with a mastery of the local dialect.
In another part of Osaka, the second-in-command of the Maguro-gumi Organization was hesitant to assist someone like Fable in adjusting to his new, ordinary life. Nevertheless, Maguro believed it was important for the hitman to savor his newfound freedom without any interruptions.
Predictions for The Fable episode 2
The second episode of Fable will explore the hitman’s attempt to live a regular life as Akira Satou, as he is prohibited from carrying out any assassinations for a year.
After receiving instructions from his boss, he is required to keep a low profile until the situation calms down. Takeshi Ebihara, who has doubts about the Fable, will serve as his manager and provide assistance whenever necessary.
Leading an average life can be quite difficult for someone like the Fable, as they will constantly be tested by fate through various situations that may require them to rely on their primitive instincts, potentially causing them to violate their moral code.
