A talented artist from the community recently shared on Reddit’s r/pokemon what a Poké Ball might look like in real life, and other fans were obsessed with the result.
Pokémon players fall in love with a handmade Poké Ball
Pokémon fan Appearingfour5 revealed his latest woodturning project in a post, sharing some shots of a beautiful handmade Poké Ball. The wood types included in this project are red heartwood, walnut, spalted tamarind, and “a random burl… for the center of the button.”
He noted that woodturning is one of his favorite hobbies and people can follow him at @Handturnedbydavid on Instagram if they want to see more.
Pokémon fans in the comments were immediately intrigued by this piece of art, asking how they could purchase one for themselves and support the original poster. One person joked, “If I buy 10, do I get a Super Ball for free?”
