The Fate of Moris in Black Clover Chapter 371: An In-Depth Analysis

The official release date for Black Clover chapter 371 is Monday, April 29, 2024. However, both chapter 371 and 370 have been leaked online before their scheduled release, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming plot.

While the main focus of chapter 370 will be on Asta, Yuno, and the Black Bulls battling against Lucius Zogratis, the following chapter will shift its focus to the confrontation between Mereoleona Vermillion and Moris Paladin Libardirt.

As fans will recall, Moris had the upper hand in his battle against Mereoleona. However, the upcoming chapter will reveal a shift in the fight, leaving fans to wonder: Will Paladin Moris Libardirt meet his end in Black Clover chapter 371?

Mereoleona destroys Moris’s body in Black Clover chapter 371

Based on the purported spoilers for Black Clover chapter 371, Paladin Moris Libardirt is indeed defeated by Mereoleona Vermillion.

Despite being well-known among fans, Paladin Moris Libardirt was initially in control of the battle against Mereoleona Vermillion thanks to his regenerative powers. However, the tables turned when Mereleona unleashed her newest spell, Ultimate Flame Magic: Excelitius Leonum. The sheer force of this ability caused the ground to tremble and brought forth the spirits of the Crimson Lions Magic Knights.

Despite being aware of their deaths, the revived Magic Knights were given physical forms through Mereoleona’s spell. This granted them the capacity to obey her commands and battle against Moris’ army. Meanwhile, Mereoleona was consumed by flames, seemingly transformed into pure mana.

Despite Mereoleona’s lack of a physical body while using her new ultimate spell, Moris was still unable to break her apart. His spell was only effective against physical bodies, leaving him unable to harm her.

The sight caused the latter to panic, unable to comprehend how a simple mortal could achieve such a state. After a few moments, it became clear that Paladin Moris’ regeneration was no longer effective as Mereoleona continued her relentless attacks.

Moris was so shocked by this situation that it led him to question God.

“ME, who was chosen by God…,” said Paladin Moris Libardirt.

Despite this, Mereoleona remained indifferent to God. Her desire was for her victory over the Paladin to serve as inspiration for humanity. As the final page of the manga chapter revealed, Mereoleona Vermillion appeared to have incinerated Moris Libardirt’s body.

As such, it is confirmed that Paladin Moris Libardirt meets his end in Black Clover chapter 371. However, without the release of the next chapter, it remains uncertain whether the Paladin will make a comeback in the future or if chapter 371 marks his final appearance for fans.

Sadly, after the publication of Black Clover chapters 370 and 371, fans will have to wait until the Summer 2024 Jump GIGA magazine is released in August 2024 for the next set of chapters to be available.
