The Finals has announced the launch of a new limited-time game mode featuring search-and-destroy gameplay. In this mode, players will be divided into attackers and defenders. The objective for attackers is to deliver a key to a terminal and successfully complete a transfer, while defenders must do everything in their power to protect the terminal. The match will consist of seven rounds, with the team earning the most round wins declared the winner.

The Finals Terminal Attack Twitch Drops
Players will have the opportunity to earn Twitch drops during the release weekend of Terminal Attack, May 2-3. Certain content creators will be showcasing the new mode on their streams, and viewers who have connected their accounts will receive cosmetics in The Finals while watching.

At the beginning of every round, two 5-man teams will be designated as either attackers or defenders. To win a round, the attackers must successfully transfer a Decryption Key to one of the terminals located on the map. On the other hand, the defenders’ goal is to prevent the opposing team from completing the objective and safeguard the terminal.
The enemy team can also be eliminated in every round in order for a team to win. The team that reaches four wins out of seven rounds first will be declared the winner.
The mode lacks healing, revives, and respawns.
According to the reveal trailer, players will likely have access to the majority, if not all, of the game’s weapons, gadgets, and specializations. However, it remains uncertain whether the Healing Beam will be available, as its inclusion would contradict the game’s “no healing”policy.
