The First Descendant players want Destiny-style weekend vendor

The First Descendant features numerous systems, with certain ones proving to be more valuable than others. In an effort to improve the less beneficial aspects, gamers have requested the addition of a Xur-like weekend vendor to the game.

One player of First Descendant brought up the issue of weapon parts and the extra Descendant being of little use in a post on Reddit. They proposed the idea of a weekend vendor that would accept a new form of currency in exchange for weapon parts, which could benefit all players.

Instead of anything that would disrupt gameplay, they also proposed that the new vendor offer items that would greatly enhance players’ experience and lessen the need for excessive grinding. This could potentially include Red/Yellow Modules and Purple/Yellow tier Amorphous Patterns.

The comments below the post were mostly positive, with many people expressing their agreement that even a slight decrease in the amount of grinding required would have a significant impact. One individual commented, “Absolutely! It would be great if we could take a break from the grinding for a particular weapon or even just for weapon parts, even if it’s only one purchase per week and requires a significant sacrifice.”

One idea proposed repurposing current vendors by utilizing them on a weekly basis. The suggestion was to provide the underutilized vendor with quality items to sell, killing two birds with one stone.

Another person suggested, “That’s not a bad suggestion. Perhaps they could introduce a vendor from either the Vulgus or Magister (I can’t recall their name, to be honest) who is a traveler in the void. This vendor could offer a currency that players can earn by completing hard mode dungeons, hard mode intercept, or by participating in the upcoming mega-dungeons.”

The First Descendant has been available for a short time since its release in early July, and changes have been occurring rapidly. Given the fact that various vendors have already made small adjustments, it is possible that NEXON may also make similar moves in the future.
