The new Korean drama “President Idol Supermarket”launched by TVING in September has released its first trailer. The disbanded idols are given a second chance to restart their lives, but should we take over the debt-ridden supermarket in front of us?

“President Idol Supermarket”tells a youth comedy about idols who were disbanded due to an accident and challenge themselves to run a supermarket. In an instant, dreams, careers, and futures all disappeared. The boy band “Thunder Boys”had to face reality. After taking over a supermarket that was on the verge of bankruptcy, they embarked on a rampage to restart their lives.

The boy band members starring “Thunder Boys”include captain Choi Ho-rang (played by Lee Shin-young), main dancer Shin Tae-ho (played by XIUMIN), rapper Cho Yi-joon (played by Chae Hyung-won), vocalist Eun Young-min (played by Choi Won-myung), and the popular maknae Yoon Sang-woo (played by Lee Se-on)), in addition to Wu Yelin (Cui Zhengyun), a part-time student with extensive experience in supermarkets, joining them.

The producer said that through the ups and downs of the five CEO idols, they will talk about how young people face the test of choice between reality and dreams. “President Idol Supermarket”will premiere on September 15.
