Angela Deem has officially announced that she will not be returning to the franchise following the conclusion of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8, much to the surprise of her fans.
Ever since 2018, Angela Deem, a star from the show 90 Day Fiancé, has been featured on various spinoffs of the franchise. Throughout the years, her storyline with her Nigerian husband Michael Ilesanmi has continued to unfold.
Following Michael’s disappearance in February, there were speculations among fans about whether Angela would face consequences on the show or be removed from it entirely due to accusations of her mistreatment towards him.
Nevertheless, Angela and Michael’s appearance in the teasers for future episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8 left viewers perplexed about the couple’s future in the franchise.
On May 20, Angela addressed whether or not she would be making a comeback to the franchise in a TikTok video, responding to a fan’s inquiry about her plans for the upcoming season.
“Following this season, I will be saying goodbye. I want to make it clear to everyone that it is not easy, no matter who you are. Even for someone like myself, do not assume it is effortless. This is my reality and it is not simple.”
The reality star informed her fans that they should not anticipate her appearance on a spinoff such as 90 Day: The Single Life, either.
“This is the reason why I will not participate in ‘Single Life.’ I have no intention of doing The Single Life, this is not just a desire to be on a show. These are actual events from my life.”

Upon reading the comments, fans were taken aback by the news that Angela would not be making any further appearances in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
Despite one fan criticizing Angela for being “very old news,”another fan expressed gratitude and hoped that her words were genuine.
A third fan speculated that instead of her, her ex Michael will appear on a future season of 90 Day: The Single Life.
Despite Angela’s significant role in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, viewers have expressed their exhaustion with her scenes and believe she deliberately creates drama to remain on the show.
The woman of 57 years has explicitly stated that she no longer wants to participate in reality TV as it does not accurately reflect her actual life.
