Is there a teaser for The Ghost in the Shell?
The initial reveal of The Ghost in the Shell included a short teaser, featuring several pages of Masamune Shirow’s manga with added animations.
The photographs depict Major Motoko Kusanagi and Public Security Section 9 in different scenarios, including the iconic moment where Motoko leaps from a tall building and activates her cloaking suit. This scene strongly suggests that the intention is to explore the alterations made in the 1995 film and its follow-ups.
Who is Producing The Ghost in the Shell?
The production of The Ghost in the Shell involves Science SARU, Bandai Namco Filmworks, Kodansha, and Production I.G. However, specific individuals working on the project, such as the director and screenwriter, have not yet been announced.
Masaaki Yuasa, an accomplished anime director, co-founded Science SARU in order to potentially participate. With his skills as both a director and a visionary, he has primarily focused on creating feature-length works in recent years, and may choose to continue in that genre.
