The GTA 6 trailer in the real world: a feat that gets people talking

Since its first broadcast in December 2023, the first trailer for GTA 6 has continued to generate excitement and has even been adapted into a realistic format. However, fans remain convinced that the game’s graphics outperform this version.

Rockstar Games’ GTA 6 trailer has been recreated countless times already. Users have recreated it in Minecraft, by Hyundai and even in GTA V, but a new real-life version of the trailer might just be the best yet.

On March 23, YouTuber DELTA uploaded a video to YouTube that takes most of the moments seen in the GTA VI trailer and recreates them IRL. Beaches, cars, clubs – every scene in the trailer came to life.

The most interesting parts are when the trailer focuses on the social media aspect of GTA 6 using real-life footage of alligators, women dancing on top of cars, and of course, the famous Florida Joker.

The only thing the IRL trailer doesn’t really recreate is the final scene where Jason and Lucia rob a store in an armed robbery. But other than that, fans are absolutely in love with it. There’s just one problem…they think the game looks even better than the real thing!

“Damn, the graphics look uglier than the actual game,” one remarked.

“The Rockstar trailer looks better,” said another.

“When the game has better graphics than real life,” one YouTube user commented.

The GTA 6 trailer quickly became one of the most viewed videos of all time. Shortly after its release, it broke the YouTube record for most views on a non-music video in 24 hours.

Rockstar still hasn’t announced when it will reveal the next trailer, but it could take a while. A new report from Kotaku suggests the game could miss its planned 2025 release window and move to 2026 as development “falls behind schedule.”
