Other changes include the addition of Web app notifications to the home screen, VoiceOver support for maps within the Weather app, Duplicate album in Photos expanding support to iCloud Shared Photo Library, Apple Pencil hover adding tilt and azimuth support for iPad Pro 11-inch (4th gen) and 12.9-inch (6th gen), and Accessibility setting to automatically dim video when flashes of light are detected.
The method through which beta updates are installed on iPads will be undergoing the next significant transformation when iPadOS 16.4 is released. Apple now gives you the ability to choose directly within the software updates whether you want to update to the public beta or the developer beta. This feature is also accessible for iPad users with the release of iPadOS 16.4.

- Fixes an issue where Ask to Buy requests from children may fail to appear on the parent’s device
- Addresses issues where Matter-compatible thermostats could become unresponsive when paired to Apple Home
