The legend of Groudon x Godzilla comes to life in Pokémon Go

A Pokémon Go player has shared his terrifying experience after being chased by a “Groudonzilla” during his adventures – and fans are loving it.

Groudon is not to be taken lightly in Pokémon Go, proving his worth and power on the battlefield, but not all trainers are safe from his power, especially when one of them turns into a Godzilla-style monster and starts chasing you down the street.

A Pokémon Go player revealed his hilarious and terrifying experience on the game’s Reddit, sharing a video of his character being chased down a street by Groudon who stomps like the classic monster, Godzilla.

“Help, I’m in danger,”the poster joked, adding that he “said fighting Kyogre on the small rock at sea was a bad idea”which likely caused the frenzy.

The Pokémon Go community found this hilarious, with many jumping into the comments to point out that there’s a “flaming Godzilla chasing you”and asking “Where is King Kong”, while others imagined that the “Godzilla theme” played during gameplay.

“This made me laugh more than it should have” pointed out another user, with many noting how funny the Pokémon’s gait is as the player runs for their life. Others were quick to add what they thought Groudon was saying to the player, with one joker suggesting he was shouting “Let me love you!”»

Groudon would certainly make a fantastic monster in a Pokémon anime, but many will likely find him adorable rather than scary, which is why this player made him his buddy in the first place.
