Suthorn Ruins Dungeon Walkthrough

Your first objective is to activate the fast travel point within the Suthorn Ruins. This feature enables you to return at any time or to respawn at this location if you fall into the abyss. Be sure to collect every Echo you encounter and smash pots to discover valuable consumables. This dungeon consists of two levels and numerous rooms to investigate, so take your time to clear each area!

Suthorn Ruins Room One

As you explore the Suthorn Ruins, you’ll acquire new skills such as Bind, Follow, and Swordsman Form. Ensure you practice these skills as you advance.

  • Approach the massive rock and press A to interact;
  • Utilize Tri’s ‘Bind’ ability to grab and move the rock;
  • Step on the white button to unseal the door;
  • Before interacting with the next rock, walk behind the slope;
  • Create a pathway using three beds leading to the doorway;
  • Use Tri’s Bind to retrieve the chest from the ground;
  • Return to the adjoining room;
  • Use Tri’s Bind to shift the rock left to uncover a ladder;

  • Utilize two decorative plants to create a path to the opposite side;
  • Summon a Spear Moblin to take down the Ignizol;
  • Learn the Ignizol Echo (if not acquired in a previous cave);
  • Step onto the lift platform;
  • Call a Spear Moblin to defeat the Darknut;
  • Learn the Darknut Echo;
  • Set up a trampoline to reach the upper rocks;

  • Push the boulder beyond the ladder and climb up;

  • Jump over the boulder and ascend the ladder to proceed.

  • Stack beds and a trampoline to ascend to the top of the rocks on the right;
  • Reach the chest by stacking wooden boxes and a trampoline;
  • Summon a Spear Moblin to eliminate the Darknuts;
  • Summon a Peahat to defeat evil Link;
  • Acquire the sword;
  • Descend from the ladder.

Suthorn Ruins Room 5

  • Use Tri’s Bind to shift the rock left;
  • Summon Strandtulas to climb up to the right and retrieve the chest;
  • Descend and move to the right;
  • Climb down the ladder;
  • Enter the door on the left;
  • Summon a Peahat to tackle the Deku Baba;
  • Learn the Deku Baba Echo;
  • Switch to Swordfighter Form to breach the barrier;

  • Summon a Spear Moblin to dispatch the Deku Baba beyond the fence;
  • Open the chest;

  • Bind the green statue;
  • Ascend the slope so the statue rests on the upper platform;
  • Release the statue and walk back down the slope;
  • Re-bind the statue and shift it to the right;
  • Ensure the statue lands on the white button (you may need to adjust it a few times);
  • Open the chest before exiting.

Suthorn Ruins Room 6

  • Return to the first room;
  • Use the small key to unlock the door on the right;
  • Bind the green statue and move it to the square tile;
  • Descend;
  • Cross on the moving platform;
  • Use Bind and Follow to ride the next moving platform;
  • Step onto the same platform and move left;
  • Climb the ladder;
  • Get on the moving platform;
  • Bind and Follow the upper platform;
  • Release upon reaching the opposite side;
  • Use the platform to navigate left;
  • Climb the ladder and hop right to the small ledge;
  • Bind and Follow the last platform to reach the chest;
  • Return left and ascend the ladder.

  • Bind the green statue and move it to the button, utilizing the objects for precise positioning;

  • Exit through the two doors into the main area and activate the fast travel point;
  • Use the large key on the door;
  • Defeat the Seismic Talus:
    • Avoid its ranged attacks;
    • Activate Swordsman Form and quickly strike the purple weak spots;
    • Hit the purple orb that drops;
    • Steer clear of its spinning arms;
    • Strike when it hits the ground and temporarily immobilizes.
