The Man Marked by Flames: One Piece’s Mystery Character Revealed in Chapter 1121

One Piece chapter 1121 is scheduled for release on July 22, 2024, however, the raw scans for the chapter have already been leaked. It is speculated that the man surrounded by flames may finally make an official appearance in this chapter, as Vegapunk has revealed that the fate of the world hinges on the discovery of the grand treasure.

The chapter featured a showdown between Bonney and Luffy against Saint Saturn, resulting in the Gorosei’s body being shattered into fragments. Additionally, the Thousand Sunny had arrived at the ocean, indicating that the Straw Hat Pirates may be en route to their next destination.

The chapter’s climax featured a dramatic two-page panel in which Vegapunk revealed that the grand treasure would determine the world’s future. The panel included powerful figures such as the 4 Emperors, Dragon, Akainu, Imu, and others. However, all eyes were on a mysterious individual wielding a sword. With the final saga currently unfolding, it is possible that this enigmatic figure is the one marked by flames.

The latest installment of One Piece, chapter 1121, began with a powerful speech from Vegapunk. In his address, he disclosed that the long-awaited day of uncovering the secrets of the Void Century is fast approaching. He also emphasized that there are individuals whom even the World Government cannot control, as they hold the key to the world’s ultimate truth.

At the conclusion of the chapter, Vegapunk declares that the one who discovers the One Piece will hold the destiny of the world. The focus then turns to a two-page spread featuring the Sea Emperors (Luffy, Buggy, Blackbeard, and Shanks), Sabo, former Admiral Aokiji, Saint Garling Fingerland, Koby, Imu, Monkey D Dragon, Fleet Admiral Akainu, and an unidentified person wielding a sword.

Although all the panelists were relevant, the addition of a new character brought a new level of intrigue. With the One Piece being the ultimate goal in this final saga, it seemed illogical to introduce a character who may only have a minor role in the story.

Therefore, the enigmatic individual may potentially be the individual known as Hinokizu, recognized for his fiery appearance. This elusive persona is known for commanding a dark vessel and possessing the ability to create whirlpools in the ocean, possibly due to the influence of his devil fruit abilities.

The crucial aspect of this character is that he possesses the Final Road Poneglyph, which was originally located on Fisherman Island. After stealing it, his location has remained a mystery until One Piece chapter 1121, where its silhouette may have been revealed. Therefore, the enigmatic swordsman in One Piece chapter 1121 could potentially be the individual marked by the flames.

Eliminating the options

Fans are well aware that there is much speculation surrounding the identity of the man engulfed in flames. However, with the recent appearance of a silhouette, some of these speculations can be ruled out. It should be noted that Dragon was also seen in the final panel, eliminating the possibility of him being Hinokizu.

Additionally, Saint Warcury can be ruled out as a potential identity for the mysterious figure since the Gorosei do not possess swords. However, there are still several names that remain viable options for speculation, such as Doma, the Whitebeard Pirates, and others.
