Art the Clown returns in Terrifier 3, showcasing his most twisted antics yet, but there’s one particularly horrific kill scene that seems to be flying under the radar.

This latest installment delivers a variety of shocking kills crafted by Damien Leone and his team, continuing the narrative established in the 2022 sequel, as Sienna (Lauren LaVera) and Jonathan (Elliott Fullam) find themselves hunted by Art (David Thornton) during the Christmas season.
One of the most talked-about moments is without a doubt the shower scene, where Art assaults a young couple with a chainsaw, brutally tearing Cole apart in an intense display of gore.

Additionally, Leone mentioned that the unsettling rat scene draws inspiration from one of the most shocking moments in American Psycho.
Yet, a scene that has not received the attention it warrants is the gruesome fate of two demolition workers who inadvertently disturb Art and Vicky (Samantha Scaffidi) from their concealment.
In this scene, Art uses a box cutter to gruesomely peel the scalp from one of the workers, removing the entire facial skin. However, it’s Vicky’s chilling actions that elevate the horror to an even greater level.
Earlier, Vicky breaks a mirror with a headbutt, shattering it into pieces. She then watches in morbid fascination as the unfortunate victim cries out in torment, using a shard of glass to derive pleasure from the chaos.
The sound design in Terrifier 3 plays a critical role, especially in this glass scene. As Vicky’s motions quicken, the sound of glass scraping her insides becomes audible, spilling blood on the floor – a spectacle she relishes.
While undeniably shocking, this chilling scene seems overshadowed by the film’s more grotesque moments and its early placement in the narrative.
In a dedicated Reddit discussion about Terrifier 3, one viewer remarked, “It’s wild that no one has mentioned Vicky using that shard of glass while Art was splitting that guy’s head open.”
“By far one of the most gruesome films I’ve witnessed. My entire theater sat in silence throughout, but I found it excellent,” said another.
TikTok user @spooksandghoulzz also called attention to this scene in a video, questioning, “Why is nobody discussing this moment?”
“For me, the shower scene didn’t hold a candle to Vicky’s twisted act,” she shared.

The TikTok user continued, “Of all the horrific scenes in this movie, the glass shard moment was what really made my stomach turn.”
She didn’t hold back her discontent either. Instead of praising its depravity, @spooksandghoulzz expressed, “What was the purpose of that scene?”
“I swear, that scene outdid all the vile moments in the film – and believe me, it was ghastly – it had me feeling physically ill. Nothing else affected me the way that did,” she concluded, stating, “That was profoundly twisted.”
Many have chimed in on this topic, with one comment reading, “When she reached her climax, I couldn’t help but think ‘you nasty b*tch’ in the theater.”
“I feel like this could’ve been cut entirely,” another added, while a third remarked, “That scene literally made me cross my legs so fast! It was truly disturbing.”
