The New Gate: Episode 11 Recap
The 11th episode of The New Gate, titled The Closed Holy Lands, continued from where the previous episode ended with Shin and Rionne trapped inside the Holy Lands. Eager to escape, they refrained from exploring and instead searched for a way out. Upon further investigation, they came to the realization that they were inside a dungeon.
As the professional dungeon explorer, Shin instructed Rionne to follow him and refrain from taking any action without his permission. While they made their way through the dungeon, Shin took care of any monsters that got in their way. However, they soon came across a slime-like monster, and despite Rionne’s belief that it was weak, she attacked it. Unfortunately, she was easily defeated and had to be rescued by Shin.
As they progressed further, they encountered the final boss of the dungeon, a powerful griffin. Shin devised a strategy, creating opportunities for Rionne to attack the beast. Despite their efforts, they were unable to defeat the monster, as it quickly regenerated. Feeling defeated, they were forced to retreat. Shin instructed Rionne to find a way out, while he bravely faced the griffin on his own, withholding his true strength.
As Rionne searched for a means of escape, Shin came across the griffin and disabled all of his limiters. After beheading the griffin 30 times, it could no longer regenerate and he seized the opportunity to deliver the final blow, ultimately defeating the monstrous creature. Once they both managed to escape the dungeon, Rionne and Shin rejoiced at the thought of returning home.
What to expect from episode 12 of The New Gate (speculative)?
The title of episode 12 of The New Gate is Major Flooding. As suggested in the previous installment, a horde of undead creatures is making their way towards Valmer. While the title may not provide any specific details about the episode’s plot, it does hint at a potential disaster.
As Schnee and Tiera make their way to meet their master, Shin and Rionne are left to face the undead monsters alone. Fans will have to patiently wait to discover if the finale episode will provide a satisfying conclusion or leave them on the edge with a potential sequel.
