On Friday, May 24, 2024, the official YouTube channel for the Genshin Impact video game released a new animated short called “The Road Not Taken.”The 3.5-minute long short is an animated music video featuring the song “The Road Not Taken”performed by HOYO-MiX and Japanese singer and lyricist, Aimer.
The main focus of the new Genshin Impact animated short is on Aether and Lumine, but viewers can also catch glimpses of Paimon and Danslief throughout their journey across the nations of Teyvat. This continent serves as the main world and setting for the original video game.
The short film was initially premiered during the Genshin Impact version 4.7 special livestream, which also revealed numerous other thrilling updates and events related to the base game. These include upcoming banners, a new 4-star character set to debut in the first half of the upcoming update, and the addition of two more 4-star characters in the second half.
Genshin Impact Fans Anticipate Premiere of Animated Short
Despite the beauty and captivation of the video game’s latest animated short, the primary focus for many fans remains on the ongoing production of the franchise anime. However, there has been no confirmed news since the initial announcement in September 2022, leaving fans uncertain about its current status.
