Samsung has begun rolling out the new One UI 5.1 update to three additional phones and one tablet. The Galaxy F22, Galaxy F23 5G, Galaxy M23 5G, and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite are among the new phones to receive the newest software. Obviously, the program is being updated with a slew of new features and improvements.

At the time of writing, the new upgrade for the Galaxy F22 and Galaxy F23 5G was rolling out in Asian markets. Samsung is sending the latest software to the F22 with the build number E225FXXS5CWB2, while the F23 receives One UI 5.1 with the build number E236BXXU2CWC1. With the M236BXXU2CWC1 firmware release, the Galaxy M23 5G receives the new software.

If you own a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, you will receive the latest software with the build number T225XXU2CWB3. For the time being, the upgrade is only available in India, but a wider deployment is expected soon.

One UI 5.1 is a significant upgrade that requires a large amount of data to download, so make sure you have enough data on your phone. All of these devices will receive the upgraded software along with the monthly security patch for February 2023.

Moving on to the new features, One UI 5.1 includes Improved Multitasking in DeX mode, a new battery widget for the home screen, support for family sharing albums in the Gallery app, quick access to the Expert RAW camera app, improved AR emojis and AR zone, enhancements for stock apps, collaborating in Samsung Notes, Samsung Internet, and more.

If you possess one of the four Galaxy smartphones and want to upgrade to One UI 5.1, go to Settings > Software Upgrade > Download and Install to check for new updates. The update is currently in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone in the following days, so you may have to wait a few days to receive the OTA notification on your device.

Before upgrading your phone, make a backup of your data and charge it to at least 50%.
