This move was expected to be Yuji’s signature attack, a hallmark of excitement in anime, and the omission of a title diminished its impact, particularly when Yuji had ample opportunity to hone this skill ahead of the climactic battle.

Moreover, considering that characters like Mahito, Megumi Fushiguro, and Hiromi Higuruma—none of whom are veterans in this area—successfully created names for their respective Domain Expansions, Yuji’s case becomes even more perplexing. Earlier in the plot, Yuji expressed a desire for a defining move akin to Goku’s Kamehameha or Naruto’s Rasengan, rendering his lack of a name for the Domain inconsistent with his character.

Compounding this issue is the fact that Yuji’s Domain Expansion was not adequately clarified. Ryomen Sukuna had to delve into Yuji’s tampered memories, making the absence of a name even more bewildering. Numerous elements, including Kenjaku’s history, the merger, Sukuna’s origin, and the overall state of the Jujutsu world, were seemingly neglected or entirely abandoned by the story’s conclusion, frustrating many fans.

There have been speculations suggesting that the author may have been suffering from health issues and coping with the demanding schedule of Weekly Shonen Jump, but this remains speculative. What is clear is that the narrative initiated these plot lines, yet the concluding chapters appeared to wander aimlessly, introducing new concepts like the lore of Simple Domains or Takaba’s interactions with a Kenjaku look-alike.

Notably, Sukuna’s backstory was only explored in his final moments, even though the entire series failed to address it adequately. This raises questions about the necessity of including such information, like Uraume’s significance to the King of Curses when the manga never provided them with substantial relevance.

Yuji’s Domain Expansion was anticipated to be one of the standout moments in Jujutsu Kaisen, and the failure to even assign it a name proved to be a letdown.
