The Perfect Steam Deck for Kingdom Hearts Enthusiasts Available Now

Square Enix and Disney are teaming up to offer a signed Steam Deck OLED by series director Tetsuya Nomura as a prize, in honor of Kingdom Hearts now being available on Steam.

Despite facing challenges, Kingdom Hearts on the Steam Deck has persevered. The Epic Games Store versions were lacking and required advanced knowledge to run properly. Additionally, FMV cut-scenes did not work on the Steam Deck, causing frustration for fans. However, with the recent release on Steam, both new and longtime fans can now enjoy the series on-the-go. To commemorate this milestone, Square Enix and Disney are hosting a giveaway for a signed Steam Deck by Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura.

The Kingdom Hearts Steam sweepstakes, announced on June 13 by the official Kingdom Hearts X/Twitter account, coincides with the release of the series on Steam. Fans of Kingdom Hearts can enter for a chance to win a 1TB Steam Deck OLED at no cost.

In addition to that, the Steam Deck will also include a copy of Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece, providing players with access to Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC, making it even more appealing.

Not only is there one Steam Deck available, but there are also other variations up for grabs. Winners of the “Key Bearer Status”will receive a 1TB Steam Deck with an OLED display, but without the Nomura signature. Furthermore, “KHonSteam”winners and general pool winners will receive a 512GB Steam Deck and a 256GB LCD model, respectively.

To enter the contest, followers must fulfill a set of requirements on the official Kingdom Hearts on Steam website. These tasks are extensive and include following the official Kingdom Hearts social media accounts on X/Twitter.

Although it may not be an easy task, with a total of 34 steps, it is definitely worth it if you desire the opportunity to win a Steam Deck signed by one of the key figures responsible for both the Kingdom Hearts franchise and Final Fantasy.
