Before the premiere of his new movie “The Plot,”Kang Dong-won sat down with Wikitree for an interview at a cafe in Anguk-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 24th.
The film “The Plot”follows the journey of Young-il, an architect who orchestrates the murder of a contractor he was working with. However, his plans go awry when the murder is discovered to be an accident. Kang Dong-won portrays Young-il, an architect who is constantly at the center of the unfolding events.
On the same day, Kang Dong-won discussed how his emotions have evolved as he has aged. He stated, “I have noticed that I experience anger more intensely now, but I also find joy to be more fulfilling than before.”
He added, “In the past, I used to see drinking and talking with my friend as something normal, but now I am grateful that we can have meaningful conversations and discuss challenging topics together.”
There have also been changes in physical strength over time. According to him, he noticed a decline in his physical strength around 10 years ago, when he was in his late 20s. He has been experiencing shortness of breath since his mid-30s and has noticed a slower recovery process in his 40s. Shooting all night the day before leaves him feeling extremely tired.
When questioned about his reluctance to believe the conspiracy theory due to his T inclination, he responded, “No, my mindset is more N-type and I possess a vivid imagination,”elaborating, “This has no connection to T. N-types would be the ones drawn to conspiracy theories.”
The film ‘The Plot’ is scheduled to premiere in cinemas across the country on the 29th.
