The Palworld Early Access launch is fast approaching and this “Pokémon with guns” is already getting noticed on Twitch.
Palworld offers an open world populated by a wide variety of creatures that players can raise, ride and of course fight.
These creatures, called Pals, can vary in size, shape, and ability, but they all have one thing in common: once tamed, they belong to you!
Behind the charming face of the Pals seems to hide a game with deliberately dubious morality, as suggested by the firearms that certain creatures carry. The game’s Steam description hints at the range of horrors that it will be possible to inflict on the Pals: “You can also sell them, dissect them or eat them.”
Palworld is a hit on Twitch even before its release
While Palworld Early Access will begin on January 19, 2024, some streamers already have the opportunity to showcase the game on Twitch. And the least we can say is that the enthusiasm is there!
For its first day of broadcast on Twitch, Palworld accumulated no less than 723,000 hours of viewing, with a peak viewership of more than 104,000, according to the statistics site Sullygnome. The newcomer even managed to climb to fifth place in the most popular categories on Twitch, ahead of behemoths like Fortnite, Dota 2 or all new Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
It is obvious that many players seem interested in joining the world of “Pokemon with guns” offered by Palworld. Although the game is launching in an early access state, the developers have confirmed that the game will continue to be updated and assured fans that it is not a scam.
