The price of this Diablo 4 mount is simply unthinkable

Diablo 4 fans have slammed Blizzard on social media, complaining about the new Glassy Bane bundle, calling the cost “insane”and “unreasonable.”

Since the start of Season 3, there has been a long list of complaints from Diablo 4 fans. Players have been unhappy with multiple aspects of the new season — ranging from issues with loot quality to issues with boss mechanics.

Yet Blizzard continued to move forward despite the criticism, rolling out patches to address issues and try to assuage player anger. But it seems like every new patch comes with a wave of new concerns from fans about the game’s quality and content.

Patch 1.3.2 launched this week, bringing with it controversy regarding the cost of the game’s cosmetic items. In particular, the Glassy Bane mount priced at $64.99.

“No. Jesus Christ. I like Diablo 4 and this mount looks cool. But $65 is insane,” one user said in the Twitter thread regarding the price of the pack.

Fans on social media were unimpressed with the price point of the pack. Players discussing their opinions on both Twitter and Reddit.

One Twitter user opted for sarcasm: “It’s called Diablo 4 because each item is worth 4 times its normal value.»

“These are macro transactions. Paying the base game cost for a mount lol. Why people continue to support Blizzard is crazy, let them continue to fall apart,” one user said on Reddit.

One user explained that they like to use other games “as a unit of measurement to put these ridiculous prices into perspective.”» They then pointed out that the mount costs more than the recent Game of the Year, Baldur’s Gate 3.

Although some users were quick to defend the value of the pack. Pointing out that 7,000 in in-game currency would normally cost more than the price of the pack.

This isn’t the first time Blizzard has come under fire from fans unhappy with the prevalence and cost of microtransactions. Players have also expressed dissatisfaction with the cost of portal recolors. But, despite the fact that many fans find the prices unreasonable, there will always be those willing to pay them.
