The Quintessential Quintuplets Special 2, which focuses on the Honeymoon arc, recently unveiled a new visual and trailer on Friday. This exciting anime project was first announced during the 5th-anniversary event at Yokohama Arena last April.
Before its television broadcast, the special will hit Japanese theaters for a limited three-week run starting September 20, 2024. Additionally, limited screenings will also be organized in various Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, and Thailand.

2. New Information About the Cast Involved in Honeymoon Arc
The romantic comedy anime features a returning cast, much to fans’ delight. The main cast includes Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Futaro Uesugi, Kana Hanazawa as Ichika Nakano, Ayane Sakura as Yotsuba Nakano, Miku Ito as Miku Nakano, Inori Minase as Itsuki Nakano, and Ayana Taketatsu as Nino Nakano.
Masato Jinbo directs the special and is responsible for the script at Bibury Animation Studio. New character designs will be created by Masato Katsumata, with musical scores composed by Natsumi Tabuchi, Hanae Nakamura, and Miki Sakurai.
In a surprising twist, the opening theme song for the anime will not be performed by renowned Animusic artists but by the voice actors of the Nakano sisters themselves. The theme song is titled Gotobun no Egao (Quintuplets Smile), while the ending theme is called Memories.
The official synopsis for the Honeymoon Arc describes it as follows: This highly anticipated honeymoon episode, based on an original concept by Negi Haruba, is brought to life under his supervision.

3. About The Quintessential Quintuplets
The Quintessential Quintuplets is a manga series created by Negi Haruba in 2017, concluding in February 2020 with 14 published volumes.
This beloved manga inspired the anime adaptation, “The Quintessential Quintuplets” , which debuted with Season 1 in 2019, followed by Season 2 in 2021.
The storyline follows Futaro, a high school student from a low-income family, who receives an enticing offer to work part-time as a tutor. However, he soon discovers that his students are five beautiful quintuplets from his class, each struggling academically and disinterested in studying!
Futaro must work to earn the trust of all five sisters in this engaging rom-com centered around the Nakano Family.
