The initial promotional video for the anime The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer ran for approximately 90 seconds and showcased the titular character, as well as the other characters that were announced as part of the series’ production. It also introduced the voice actors for the other characters, which was a part of the initial announcement for the series.
Tomoya Ito portrays Togo Asagaki, who goes by the name Kizuna Red when he transforms into his Red Ranger form. Joining him are Konomi Inagaki as Idola Avom, Minami Tanaka as Teltina Liz Wagrel Alvarost, and Tomohiro Ono as Rosie Mist. From the anime’s promotional video, it appears that these three characters are Asagaki’s initial companions in the unfamiliar world he finds himself in.
The anime at Satelight studios is being directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, while Atsuhiro Tomioka is in charge of the series composition. Shuji Maruyama is responsible for designing the characters and is also the chief animation director, alongside Hideaki Onishi and Ayaki Ito. Koichiro Kameyama is composing the music for the series. It is expected that more staff and cast members will be announced as the release date of the series approaches.
Furthermore, the Wing Nerima manga cafe’s official X account (formerly known as Twitter) also made an announcement about the anime. A photo was posted showcasing various newly released manga volumes, with the one for the anime’s source material featuring a wraparound jacket band stating the start date of the TV anime as January 2025.
The anime series The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer will be a television adaptation of the original manga series by Koyoshi Nakayoshi. Both the anime and manga share the full title, The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World. The manga, which first appeared in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in October 2020, is still currently ongoing.
The series continues to follow Asagaki, the Red Ranger, after his defeat at the hands of the ultimate evil organization during their final confrontation. Despite the seemingly inevitable outcome of his demise, Asagaki is unexpectedly transported to another world. There, he embraces his new role as an adventurer, using his skills to aid those in need and uphold the fight for justice.
