The return of Rebirth Island to Warzone could be “ruined” by this change

Rebirth Island will make its comeback in Warzone and immediately players begged the developers not to “spoil” this iconic map by adding a gameplay mechanic.

Warzone has had different maps over the past few years, and there has often been a close battle between Verdansk and Rebirth Island over which map is the most popular.

Although these two maps have been missing for some time, their return has however been confirmed in the integration of Modern Warfare 3 with the Battle Royale.

Rebirth, the smaller of the two, will be the first to return, with the developers having finally confirmed that the Alcatraz Island-inspired map will return on April 3, the same day as Season 3 launches.

Even though early images of the map suggest nothing has changed, players are concerned that Rebirth will be “spoiled”like Fortune’s Keep, after the developers decided to make big changes to the Resurgence map earlier This year.

“The fewer changes they make, the better,” said one player. “Please don’t ruin this for Activision,” added another.

Others have noted that the swimming mechanic, which now plays a big role in Warzone, will cause the map to drop.

“The swimming mechanic is going to ruin this card. The last few circles will be wasted with Aquaman playing Finding Nemo,” says one fan. “Swimming is so stupid, I wish it was disabled just for this card,” added another.

For the moment, no changes have been revealed since we can only rely on images.

However, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some changes incorporated when this card returns. It just remains to be seen whether they will be as disastrous for Rebirth as some fans fear.
