The Return of the Best Healing Item in Fortnite

As Chapter 5 Season 3 nears its end, Fortnite players are rejoicing over the return of “the best healing item.”

During the fifth chapter of Fortnite, Epic Games regularly removed and added back different options for restoring health and shields.

Up until now, players have relied on Medkits to fully restore their health and bandages for a temporary solution. Additionally, they have the option to break a Slurp barrel or consume a bottle of Flowberry Fizz in order to replenish their shields.

In Season 3, gamers had the option to either run over a Slurp Cactus or drink Nuka Colas for a gradual restoration of their health and shields. Both methods effectively restored their health and shields.

Despite other options available, the Med Mist remains unmatched in its versatility. On July 30, in a surprise Fortnite hotfix, Epic Games chose to unvault the item.

Reliable sources Hypex and FortniteAssist have confirmed that the Med Mist has returned to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

The Med Mist in Fortnite allows players to heal while in motion by spraying mist on themselves or their teammates. Unlike other items, it can be used in small portions, allowing players to save charges for future use. This feature makes it perfect for the fast-paced battles and team dynamics in Fortnite.

The addition of Med Mist to Fortnite was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. “The best healing item is back!”one player exclaimed in response to Hypex’s X post.

As someone else chimed in, “It’s time to inhale the health paint!”Excited responses such as “LET’S GOO, I MISSED IT SM”and “W hotfix”inundated social media.

Despite the conclusion of Chapter 5 Season 3, the meta heavily focused on vehicles has been receiving criticism from leading players, including Ninja. Nevertheless, the revival of the Med Mist could potentially provide the much-needed change for players.

The Med Mist could change its strategies and revitalize gameplay as players prepare for the next chapter, as the season comes to a close in mid-August.
