The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Season 2 Unveils Theme Songs and New Promotional Video

The official staff for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2 released the main trailer on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, ahead of the show’s premiere on October 6, 2024. In addition, the staff announced new cast members and provided details about the theme songs, along with a new visual.

Season 2 of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will continue the story from the previous season, which aired from October 2023 to March 2024 across two cours. This series adapts the sequel of The Seven Deadly Sins manga created by Nakaba Suzuki.

On Tuesday, the official website and social media for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2 shared the main promotional video ahead of its October 6, 2024, debut on TBS and its affiliated channels.

The trailer showcases new characters and thrilling battle scenes where the main characters confront their enemy, Arthur. Notably, the promotional video also features the opening theme song, “MMH,”performed by the Japanese rock band UVERworld. The ending theme song, “Akairo,”is sung by Hana Hope.

The official staff has revealed the main visual for season 2, illustrating Percival and his companions exploring the Walled City of Wolnack, along with two mysterious shadowy figures.

Moreover, new cast members have been announced. Michiko Kaiden will voice Teaninich, a knight of Chaos who has the ability to control small creatures. Kenji Nomura will play Macduff, another knight of Chaos skilled in martial arts. Yumiri Hanamori is also joining as the voice of Io. The official site features designs for the new characters.

Cast and Staff for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Season 2

The sequel will see the return of the previous cast members, including Koki Uchiyama as Lancelot, Sho Komura as Percival, Sachi Kokuryu as Arthur Pendragon, Ayumu Murase as Triston Liones, and Yuki Kaji as Meliodas.

Maki Odaira will direct the sequel at Telecom Animation Film, with Shigeru Murakoshi overseeing the scripts. Youichi Takada is credited as the character designer, while Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano will compose the main themes. Kohta Yamamoto also serves as a music composer.

Since the previous season adapted up to 80 chapters of the manga, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 2 will start from chapter 81. This sequel will continue the Chaos in the Liones Arc and initiate the Wolnack Arc.
