EA has recently announced exciting updates for The Sims franchise. Although a sequel won’t be launched due to shifting priorities, players can participate in an engaging limited-time event called Reaper’s Rewards in The Sims 4 to earn various rewards.
This isn’t the first event introduced in the game; previously, players were able to unlock new CAS and build items for free through the Happy at Home Login event simply by logging in.
However, the Reaper’s Rewards event has a different mechanic, which might be a bit confusing.
The Sims 4 Reaper’s Rewards Event: Start & End Dates
The Sims 4 Reaper’s Rewards event will take place from September 24 until October 12, 2024. During this event, players can engage in two quests each week that involve assisting the Grim Reaper.
Completing these quests will earn you Event Points, which can be redeemed for various free base game rewards.
The Sims 4 Reaper’s Rewards Event: How to Participate
Complete missions to earn rewards during the Reaper’s Rewards event in The Sims 4.
- Log in to your EA account and open The Sims 4.
- Enter Live Mode with either a new or existing Household.
- A pop-up will appear detailing the first set of quests.
- Complete the quests to acquire Event Points.
- Once you gather enough Event Points, click the Event Icon to access the Event Screen.
- Claim your rewards. (Make sure you are in Live Mode or Main Menu to do this.)
After claiming your rewards, you can find them in Build Mode, CAS, or your Sim’s inventory, based on the item type.
They might be hard to find if you have numerous expansion packs installed, but you can always use the Event Rewards filter under the Special Category for easier access.

If you’re concerned about missing out or starting late, EA has confirmed that you will still have access to the previous week’s quests as long as the event is ongoing.
All rewards you’ve claimed will be saved to your EA account, allowing you to keep them permanently as long as you have access to your login information.
