Two TikTok influencers were involved with the same guy in November 2023. One of them is now speaking out about being criticized for supposedly coming between the other two’s relationship.
In 2023, Sophia la Corte and Halley Kate, two popular influencers on TikTok, both showed interest in the same person, Reed Williams.
During a public announcement, Halley stated that Reed had “homie-hopped”to her friend Sophia after their breakup in November of the same year, even though she was the first one he had dated publicly.

Despite Halley and Reed rekindling their relationship following his short time with Sophia, Sophia is now speaking out almost a year after their love triangle first emerged.
Sophia shared her side of the story in a three-part TikTok series titled “how I got canceled by a girl I met three times.”
The woman alleged that Halley had texted her after her date with Reed in 2023. Despite this, Sophia did not reply, leading Halley to share about the incident on TikTok, which quickly gained hundreds of thousands of views.

Sophia clarified that she had only encountered Halley a few times through their work, after expressing her confusion about Halley’s anger towards her, whom she hardly knew.
“I sympathize with her. We’ve all been in a similar situation,”she remarked, showing understanding towards Halley. Unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worse when the influencer publicly accused Sophia, her friend, of stealing her partner.

After Halley accused them of hanging out at her apartment before heading to the bar, Sophia felt even more cornered. She quickly refuted the claim, stating, “I have never stepped foot inside her apartment.”
Halley even claimed that Sophia never sent a direct message to Reed, despite telling her TikTok followers that she did while they were together. However, Sophia denies this ever occurring.
As Sophia played Halley’s old TikToks from 2023 in part three of her story, she also took note of the comments left by netizens at the time. One person said, “You’re disgusting,”while another added, “You’re not a true friend to girls.”

“The TikToker concluded by saying that the lesson to be learned is not to always trust everything you come across on the internet. They also advised not to take negative comments too seriously and to stay positive.”
Currently, Sophia and Reed have ended their relationship and have only been on five dates together.
