Engaging in Battles in Pokemon Go

In Pokemon Go, players have two options for battles: Local PvP and The Go Battle League. Local PvP enables trainers to challenge friends, while the Go Battle League facilitates competitive matches against global players with distinct requirements for rewards.

Participating in a Local PvP Battle

Similar to trading, initiates a local PvP match by selecting your avatar profile icon at the lower left of the screen. Then tap “Friends” and select the friend you are with. After both of you complete the necessary steps, tap “Battle” to commence a local match.

Entering the Go Battle League

To start your adventure in the Go Battle League, open your game menu and select “Battle” — this will direct you to the League menu.

The Go Battle League provides players the opportunity to compete globally in various formats that are time-limited. These formats dictate which Pokemon, CP levels, and types can be utilized in matches.

By winning matches, players can earn valuable rewards such as Pokémon Encounters, Stardust, Items, Elite Move TMs, and Rare Candy.

League Levels and Requirements

Here’s a breakdown of each League Level alongside the CP limitations:
