According to its fans, Umbrella Academy Season 4 was riddled with various issues, which were comprehensively listed by one individual.
Despite being the last journey for the Hargreeves siblings, Season 4 of The Umbrella Academy was far from an easy ride.
Along with a few notable deaths, the “gross”age gap relationship and the lack of resolution in most of the storyline also drew criticism from viewers.
A Redditor created a comprehensive list of the top 25 things that fans of Umbrella Academy had issues with in Season 4. While some of the points may have been harsh, the comments section was in complete agreement with the list.

Despite having the ability to see dead people, Klaus, the sibling, had limited material to work with throughout the entire season, causing the audience members to express their dissatisfaction.
Despite starting Season 4 without their powers, Klaus’ character arc was greatly impacted as he struggled to overcome his germaphobia and desire to distance himself from his past as an addict. However, when the family regained their superpowers, Klaus was unable to resist falling back into his old habits, making his five-year character development seemingly futile.
Some notable moments in the season include the absence of Allison and Luthor’s spouses, Ray and Sloane, and the revelation of why Reginald sent his wife, Abigail, to the moon. Additionally, it was revealed that Ben never had the opportunity to bid farewell to his siblings before his passing.
The list on the show’s subreddit was not only agreed upon by Umbrella Academy fans, but they also contributed their own points to the discussion.
One viewer commented on the existence of Lila and Diego’s children, as well as Claire, stating that it could potentially cause a paradox.
One person remarked, “Lila getting eye lasers now? How does that have anything to do with her copying ability? It’s not a power upgrade, it’s just some nonsense.”
Upon reading this, it appears that a third viewer expressed their disappointment in the show, stating, “After reading this, I regret ever beginning to watch this show. I am absolutely devastated.”
The first four seasons of The Umbrella Academy are currently available for streaming on Netflix. For additional content, be sure to stay updated on other Netflix series such as Stranger Things Season 5 and Virgin River Season 6. Additionally, there will be new TV shows added to the streaming platform in August.
