On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the staff of the The Unfavorable Job “Appraiser”Is Actually the Strongest anime adaptation confirmed that author Ibarakino’s action-fantasy light novel series has been given the green light. The release date for the anime has been set for 2025, as announced through a visual.

In 2019, Ibarakino-sensei first released The Unfavorable Job “Appraiser”Is Actually the Strongest on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. Shortly after, Kodansha obtained the rights and started publishing the light novels featuring illustrations by Hitaki in September 2020. The series also has a manga adaptation with artwork by Fuji.

The Unfavorable Job Appraiser Gets an Anime Adaptation in 2025

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, a new website and X (formerly known as Twitter) account were launched to announce that the novel series, “The Unfavorable Job ‘Appraiser’ Is Actually the Strongest”by Ibarakino, will be adapted into a television anime set to air in 2025.

The teaser visual released on the official website features Ein, Yuri, and Ursula, the guardian of the Spirits. While the show’s staff announced a 2025 release date, they have not yet revealed a specific date.

In addition to the announcement of the anime adaptation, the staff also revealed that the third volume of the light novel series is set to be released on July 2, 2024. Fans can also look forward to the 12th volume of the manga adaptation, which will hit stores on July 9, 2024.

It is noteworthy that the X account for The Unfavorable Job “Appraiser”Is Actually the Strongest anime shared a comment from the original author, Ibarakino. In the comment, the author expressed gratitude to the manga adaptation artist Fuji Morohoshi and all those who contributed to the franchise. The author also encouraged fans to anticipate the upcoming action fantasy anime.

Two celebratory illustrations have been released by Fuji, the illustrator of the manga adaptation, and Hitaki Yuu, the artist behind the original light novel series. Fuji-san’s illustration features Ein and Yuri, while Hitaki’s depicts Ein alongside a significant character from the series.

Sadly, the essential information regarding the cast, staff, and production studio has yet to be disclosed. Therefore, followers of the anime will need to patiently await any future announcements from the show’s team.
