Is Imogen Being Disloyal to Malik?

Following their conversation at the cemetery, Imogen and Adilah make their way to a bar. Imogen subtly tries to assure Adilah that she remains unaware of her true identity as the Djinn al Raqqah.

Despite the possible traps and threats from both French and American intelligence, she cautions her to remain vigilant. Nevertheless, she assures her that she will do everything in her power to assist her in escaping such situations.

During her time at the bar, Imogen reveals that she has been working with the American intelligence service for an extended period and takes a break to smoke a cigarette.

The reason for her betrayal of Malik and the French Intelligence, or her decision to keep them uninformed, remains unclear. However, she is known for her honesty, and it is likely that she was aware of the importance of both information and physical strength in her plans.

In order to provide Max with reliable information, she requests that he confirm whether the CIA was responsible for the death of Marcus Seabright, possibly her father. Imogen threatens to expose him if he denies it, as he may be able to assist her in achieving her goals.

Secondly, Adilah receives a message from ‘E’ (possibly Eric), asking her to bring someone along in order to end things. The identity of ‘her’ is uncertain, as it could be either Imogen or Adilah’s daughter. However, based on the limited information provided, I assume that Eric is Adilah’s romantic partner.

Terrorist Plan In The Works

The third installment of “The Veil”further reveals details about the terrorist plan, as the conspirators make final preparations for its execution. As she departed from the refugee camp, Adilah strategically placed her phone near her tent, which was later retrieved by a man.

Upon attempting to interrogate the individual, the camp director and his head of communications were brutally gunned down in a manner that closely mirrored the tactics used by the Russian FSB.

Despite the limited exploration of the connection to Russia thus far, it is highly probable that it will have a significant impact on the terrorist plot, given that the attack is aimed at the USA. As soon as Hasad acquires Adilah’s phone at the camp, he begins communicating and initiating a plan.

Two individuals, selected as martyrs for their faith, are given directions to complete a mission at a deserted hospital located in Mosul, Iraq. Their objective is to recover hazardous cores from outdated radiology equipment in the dilapidated wing of the hospital and safeguard them in containers made of lead.

Upon entering the wing and handling the highly radioactive cores, the two men quickly succumb to the deadly impacts of radiation. This reveals that the supposed terrorist attack is actually an act of biological warfare.

As the episode progresses, additional details are revealed. It is revealed that a Bulgarian ship will be leaving for the east coast of the USA in a few days as part of a goodwill agreement made during a recent NATO meeting.

What is intriguing is that Emir, the captain of this ship, had previously conversed with Adilah over the phone.

The transfer of the containers holding the radioactive cores onto the ship is not a coincidence. The intention behind this action is to use these cores to launch an attack on the USA, which could potentially blind and kill countless people due to their exposure.

Adilah’s phone needs to be retrieved from a refugee camp as part of the plan, and Emir is the one overseeing this particular aspect.

There are indications that Emir may have ties between ISIS and Russia. Being a Bulgarian national, he originates from a country that was formerly a strong ally and member of the communist USSR.

Nevertheless, the specifics of their partnership in combatting their common adversary – the United States – will only be revealed in upcoming installments of this captivating espionage drama.
