The Walking Dead final trailer teases Rick and Michonne’s bloody reunion

After years without seeing them again, the two favorite characters of The Walking Dead spectators will finally return to our screens. And the final trailer for The Ones Who Live promises its share of epic scenes.

The Walking Dead may be a zombie series, but the main subject of Robert Kirkman’s comics has always been humans. How do we get through it when everything collapses, what priorities emerge and who can survive? The series adapting the comics was able to transcribe all the issues imagined by the author, and in the process succeeded in creating a strong community of fans.

And if the main series is now finished, the craze has not stopped. Various spin-off projects then emerged, and among them, there is one that is awaited more than anything: The Ones Who Live, highlighting two characters from the very beginning, Rick and Michonne.

Explosive and tragic trailer for Rick and Michonne’s on-screen reunion

Rick was the main character of The Walking Dead, the very first survivor through which viewers were introduced to a world rife with the undead and chaos. However, the hero did not stay on screen throughout: he sacrificed himself to save his family, before disappearing. To return to the end of the series!

The hype was intense among the spectators attending his return. But it was cut off in full swing, since The Walking Dead would not have a sequel… at least, until the arrival of The Ones Who Live, a spin-off series.

The pitch is simple: Michonne has never given up on the idea that her lover is still alive, and intends to find him. Will the obstacles in their path be enough to prevent the reunion of the two lovebirds? Not sure! Because The Walking Dead may be a zombie series, but The Ones Who Live will also be a love story.

The spin-off will be released on February 25, 2024 on AMC+ in English-speaking countries. In France, the spin-off series has not yet received a broadcaster announcement.
