Norman Reedus, the lead actor of The Walking Dead, was recently seen in Tokyo searching for specific manga merchandise. As a result, his visit has attracted some notice.
According to fans, Reedus, who portrayed Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead for 11 seasons, has a love for manga. While browsing for merchandise in Akihabara, the actor, who is also recognized for his role as Sam Porter Bridges in Death Stranding, specifically sought out items related to Fire Punch, the first manga written by Chainsaw Man’s creator, Tatsuki Fujimoto.
According to the post, a fan took a quick photo with Reedus, who then used the opportunity to ask for directions. The translation of the tweet states that Norman was searching for some Fire Punch merchandise by Tatsuki Fujimoto and the fan suggested Mandarake as the only place they could think of. The fan then showed Reedus around the store.
I was in Akihabara for some business when I suddenly bumped into Norman Reedus and I literally collapsed to my knees. I told him I loved the movie “The Punisher” and he even took a photo with me. My hands are still shaking. pic.twitter.com/bgwDB48sgD

The poster encourages anyone with additional knowledge to share it and possibly provide better guidance to Reedus. While Mandarake is a reputable and expansive store for pop culture merchandise, it may not have the specific item that the Boondock Saints and Blade 2 actor is seeking.
Fire Punch may not be a popular choice among manga and anime shows. Currently, it has not been adapted for screen and there is no information on whether it will be after the completion of Chainsaw Man.
Currently, we are eagerly anticipating the release of Look Back, an anime movie adapted from a one-shot created by Tatsuki. The highly-anticipated film is set to debut this summer. The burning question remains: Has Norman Reedus had the chance to read Look Back? If he has, how would he compare it to his previous works, Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man?
Until we have the opportunity to meet the man in person and ask him ourselves, we can only speculate. Akihabara appears to be a promising place to begin our search. Norman, if you happen to come across this, we have some fantastic anime suggestions for you on our upcoming list.
