These legendary LEGO sets are still available, don’t wait any longer

We’ve rounded up all the latest retired LEGO sets still available online. However, they come at a certain price. Come and discover them.

Did you think you’d never get your hands on the retired LEGO sets you want? Of course, they should not be unpacked. You want to enjoy the satisfying feeling of opening the box and fitting each brick inside.

Well, if you thought you missed your chance, you were wrong. A series of discontinued LEGO sets are still available in various stores. Plus, they’re still fresh in their box, unopened and ready to build.

However, some retired sets (like those shown here) are sold at a premium price. LEGO bricks have, in fact, become an investment. Yes, you read correctly.

Take, for example, the 1989 LEGO DC Batmobile, which is still available on Fnac. The value of this retired set has increased by over 100%.

But can you really put a price on that LEGO set you always wanted but got pulled? We’ve rounded up the latest discontinued LEGO kits still in stock online. Here’s what you can expect.

1. LEGO Star Wars Kylo Ren’s Shuttle — 75256

A series of brand new LEGO Star Wars sets is planned for 2024, culminating in 25 years of collaboration between the two brands. However, while many new LEGO Star Wars are already available, it’s the later models that are most anticipated by fans of the galaxy far, far away.

Yes, you will have to wait until March 2024 for them to arrive. Luckily, you can already pre-order the LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary sets.

However, how about investing in a retired Star Wars inspired LEGO model? A few are still available, including Kylo Ren’s Shuttle (75256).

However, there is a price. Like most retired LEGO Star Wars sets, this kit comes at a premium price.

Retired in 2021, Kylo Ren’s Shuttle reimagined by LEGO had a lifespan of approximately two years. However, although it was available for quite a while and many copies were sold, this did not stop its value from increasing.

So how much has its price increased? In short, almost €125 (i.e. more than 100% of its initial price).

But other than its post-retirement price, what can you expect from this set? Designed for Star Wars fans ages 10 and up, this is one of the best Star Wars sets for kids.

Made up of 1005 pieces, this set includes neat details, such as wings that fold when you turn the engine upright. A cockpit and lowerable access ramp are also present, while the spring-loaded shooter duo lets you relive the battle action. The complete vessel measures over 35cm high, 21cm long and 50cm wide.

Of course, you’ll need characters to recreate iconic scenes. Six are included. There is Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, General Pryde, a Sith trooper, a First Order Stormtrooper and 2 Knights of Ren.

This retired Lego set is now available at the price of €257.59 on Amazon.fr.

No sneaker collection is probably complete without a pair of adidas Originals Superstars (10282). The same goes for a LEGO collection aimed at adults aged 18 and over without the brick-built version (only one shoe is included, though).

Released in 2021, this adidas-inspired LEGO kit recreates this classic 1958 sneaker to perfection. It features a wealth of authentic design details. This includes the adidas brand logos and the iconic three stripes branding.

Plus, you can personalize the LEGO replica by adding other LEGO bricks. Actual laces are also present. What’s even cooler, this set comes in a box that looks just like the one you get when purchasing a real pair.

Made up of 731 pieces, this set measures over 12cm high, 27cm long and 9cm wide.

Removed after 25 months, this LEGO adidas Originals Superstar set is available on Cdiscount at the price of €117.98 (or €107.99 if you are a Cdiscount member), or a little less than €30 more than its original price.

Picture this: You’re perched on a Harley-Davidson, its engine roaring as you drive down Route 66, feeling the wind in your hair (through your helmet, of course—safety first). Sounds like a biker’s paradise, doesn’t it?

However, while you’re planning your cross-country trip, why not grab a brick-built Fat Boy to add to the excitement?

Designed for Harley-Davidson fans ages 16 and up, the LEGO-reimagined Fat Boy features 1,023 pieces. Each one fits together to create a LEGO replica faithful to the original.

Measuring over 20cm high, 18cm wide and 33cm long, the complete model is packed with authentic details. Dressed in authentic dark red and black, the brick-built motorcycle features a recreated Milwaukee-Eight engine, with movable pistons, steering functionality and a movable shift pedal and brake levers.

The LEGO Fat Boy rides on Lakester wheels, wrapped in thick tires. Dual exhausts are also present.

Additionally, a kickstand is included, as well as a display stand. The finished model will make an impressive centerpiece.

In the end, the price of the LEGO Creator Expert Harley-Davidson Fat Boy has increased by more than €70 since it was withdrawn in 2021. It will now cost you €174.99 on Fnac.

Did you miss these retired LEGO sets when they were still (officially) available? Well, look no further. Of course, they come at a certain price. But, after all, if you really want them, why not get your hands on them now while there are still copies available.
