These Pokémon Go players are defying the rules for greater profitability

Pokémon Go players are outraged at Niantic for making all of the game’s different features more effective for trainers if they make exactly the opposite of what was planned.

Pokémon Go has regularly updated the game and, over the years, has introduced an array of different features.

However, these have often faced criticism from the Pokémon Go community due to various bugs, defects and the perceived uselessness of different challenges and events.

One player has now highlighted how frustrating it is that in order to reap the rewards in XP and rewards from completing different features in the mobile game, it’s best to do the “absolute opposite”.

Pokémon Go Players Say Every Feature Is Better Inverted

Pokémon Go player Foulmouth232 posted: “Stop and think about it: how come virtually every feature works better when you do the absolute opposite of what Niantic intended to do?»

STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT: How can it be that pretty much every feature works the best when you do the ABSOLUTE OPPOSITE of what Niantic intended to be done? byu/Foulmouth232 inpokemongo

This was paired with an image that gave four examples of what to do instead, when completing PokéStop Trials, Routes, GO Battle League Cups, and Raids. For Routes, they said: “Instead of exploring interesting new areas, you maximize the benefits by creating short Routes that don’t require you to go out of your way.»

One player claimed that Niantic “doesn’t really care if you explore or even move around,”while another added: “You’ll catch a lot more Pokémon by going to your local hotspot and walking around from the same area.»

“They also want to drain you of every last cent with low-effort tickets – and they definitely don’t care if you walk since that’s the least efficient way to play,” one trainer responded.

Many revealed that they followed the same strategies in order to reap the rewards. As one player shared, they only use one Route, which is “the shortest possible route I could create.”It’s one of my proudest accomplishments in the game.”
