Did you think you’d never be able to get your hands on those retired Star Wars-inspired LEGO sets you want? Of course, they should not be unpacked. You want to enjoy the satisfying feeling of opening the box and the immersive building experience when putting their bricks together.

Well, if you missed that, you don’t have that much to worry about. Indeed, these discontinued LEGO Star Wars sets are still available.

However, some of these discontinued sets are sold at a higher price. LEGO bricks have, in fact, become an investment. Yes, you are not wrong. They are worth their weight in gold.

But can you really put a price on that LEGO set you’ve always wanted but been scrapped, especially when they’re inspired by the galaxy far, far away? We’ve rounded up the latest discontinued LEGO Star Wars models that are still available online. Here’s what you can expect.

A series of brand new LEGO Star Wars sets is planned for 2024, culminating in 25 years of collaboration between the two brands. However, while many new LEGO Star Wars are already available, it’s the later models that are most anticipated by fans of the galaxy far, far away.

Yes, you will have to wait until March 2024 for them to arrive. Luckily, you can already pre-order the LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary sets.

However, how about investing in a retired Star Wars inspired LEGO model? A few are still available, including Kylo Ren’s Shuttle (75256).

Retired in 2021, Kylo Ren’s Shuttle reimagined by LEGO had a lifespan of approximately two years. However, although it was available for quite a while and many copies were sold, this did not stop its value from increasing.

But other than its post-retirement price, what can you expect from this set? Designed for Star Wars fans ages 10 and up, this is one of the best Star Wars sets for kids.

Made up of 1005 pieces, this set includes neat details, such as wings that fold when you turn the engine upright. A cockpit and lowerable access ramp are also present, while the spring-loaded shooter duo lets you relive the battle action. The complete vessel measures over 35cm high, 21cm long and 50cm wide.

Of course, you’ll need characters to recreate iconic scenes. Six are included. There is Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, General Pryde, a Sith trooper, a First Order Stormtrooper and 2 Knights of Ren.

Before its retirement, it was available for €129.99. Now, this retired Lego set is available at the price of €257.59 on Amazon.fr.

Want to expand your collection of LEGO Star Wars helmets but you missed the LEGO Star Wars Dark Trooper helmet (75434). Well, luckily there is still stock. This comes at a price, however.

Made up of 693 pieces, this Star Wars-inspired set is an accurate replica of a Dark Trooper’s helmet. Aimed at fans of the series over the age of 18, it even boasts a combination of translucent red elements to recreate the glowing eyes of a Dark Trooper. The complete model therefore measures over 18 cm high, 12 cm wide and 15 cm deep.

Before its retirement, this set would have cost you — ahem — €69.99. However, although only a few months have passed since then, the asking price for this kit has increased by over €30. If you do the math, this model is now priced at €101.

3. LEGO BrickHeadz Heroes of Battle of Endor — 40623

Of all the LEGO BrickHeadz sets retiring in 2023, this was one of two Star Wars-inspired BrickHeadz sets. Plus, the LEGO BrickHeadz Star Wars Heroes of Battle for Endor (40623) features five characters from the galaxy far, far away, making it the one Star Wars fans aged 10 and up were looking for. sadder to see them go.

Brick-built characters included in this 549-piece kit are Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Lando Calrissian, R2-D2, and Wicket. The latter also holds a spear, while Luke’s model has a green lightsaber.

Fortunately, this set is still available on Cdiscount. Before its retirement, it was available at €39.99. From now on, you will have to pay €79.19 to add it to your LEGO collection.

Did you miss these kits when they were still (officially) available? Well, look no further. Of course, some of them have seen their prices increase. But, again, if you really want them, why not get your hands on them while there are still copies available of these LEGO sets.
