This Amazing Assault Rifle From MW2 Is Still Ignored By Warzone Players

One of Modern Warfare 2’s most popular assault rifles should return to consideration for the Warzone meta as it has a “phenomenal”TTK but is currently overlooked.

With Call of Duty’s annual release cycle still in effect, Warzone found itself caught in turmoil. Battle royale has become a fusion of different games, mixing weapons, equipment, perks and a few other elements into an intense battlefield.

In the case of Modern Warfare 3 ‘s integration with Warzone, the newer game’s weapons were more suited to the early health and TTK changes. They quickly displaced popular weapons from Modern Warfare 2 that some players considered had become “unusable” in certain scenarios.

However, some weapons from MW2 are starting to be considered again and there are others that are overlooked but could, eventually, receive attention again.

Best class for the STB 556 in Warzone Season 2

One such weapon is the STB 556. Warzone expert WhosImmortal highlighted the assault rifle in his February 15 video as one of the best options for Resurgence matches, especially with a TTK “phenomenal” .

“The STB 556 is a well-kept secret. You’re missing out, I know, this thing really has phenomenal TTK and it’s super easy to use,” the YouTuber said, noting that the Modern Warfare 2 favorite benefits from MW3 accessories to really improve his control and damage ranges.

This includes the use of the VT-7 Spiritfire suppressor, Bruen Heavy underbarrel mount, and Corio Eagleseye 2.5x sight. However, you should use the 42 round magazine as it is the best you can have in terms of ammo.

  • Bouche: VT-7 Spiritfire
  • Barrel: 508mm Rear Guard
  • Sous-canon: Support Bruen Heavy
  • Glasses: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Magazine: 42-round magazine

The somewhat limited ammo capacity is the only downside to this classic assault rifle, and that shouldn’t deter you from using it. Plus, the fact that it’s been around since MW2 means you’ve probably already upgraded it to the max.

Whether it actually re-enters the meta anytime soon remains to be seen, but for now, this assault rifle remains a fun and different option that many players won’t use.
