Finding a shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Go can be difficult enough — but one Pokémon Go player recently managed to find a whole bunch of strangely color-coordinated Pokémon in their game.
Do you have shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Go? Hunting for shiny can be a fun activity in the game, and one player recently took it to the next level by accidentally stumbling upon a loot of shiny Pokémon that appeared to follow a “dress code.”
A Pokémon Go player posted a photo of his shiny loot to Reddit’s r/pokemongo with the caption “I guess my recent shinys follow a dress code.”

The group of green Pokémon includes the shiny versions of Groudon, Granivol, Archéomire and Feuillajou. It’s an impressive loot, and other fans on the subreddit immediately loved it.

A viewer responded to the Reddit post saying, “Jealous! ahaha green is my favorite color” and another shared that he had been looking for a shiny Granivol for a long time but without success. Hunting for shinys in Pokémon Go can be very random, and also depends a lot on events.
Another Pokémon Go player who saw the post asked “What is the difference between Shiny Foliage and normal, it looks the same to me?” The original author responded, “It’s a lighter shade of green, and the body is more yellow,” later admitting that the shiny was “pretty meh.”
If you are a shiny hunter and want to complete your Pokédex in Pokémon Go, make sure to participate in as many Community Days and special events or Research Tasks with increased shiny chances as possible. This can be time consuming, but if you’re passionate about alternate color palettes for Pokémon, it’s well worth the effort.
