Despite being a surprise for many, Kurama’s reappearance in the manga was sensed by this Boruto character as the first person to sense its presence within Himawari.
In the ninth chapter of Boruto Two Blue Vortex, a surprising turn of events occurred when it was discovered that Himawari had inherited Naruto’s Bijuu chakra. As Jura attempted to absorb Himawari in order to access the chakra, a small form of Kurama emerged from within her.
The resurrection of Kurama remains a mystery and was an unexpected twist. However, there have been subtle hints suggesting this outcome for some time. Following Kurama’s selfless sacrifice to shield Naruto from the dangers of his Baryon Mode, there were small indications of the nine-tailed fox’s potential comeback.
However, it was Daemon, the first Boruto character to sense that there was something unique about Himawari. In the Omnipotence Arc of the Boruto manga, Daemon was taken aback by Himawari’s presence. Despite her seemingly frail appearance, he sensed a powerful energy emanating from her.
Despite the lack of explanation regarding the “intensity”within Himawari, it can be understood based on the events of Chapter 9. It was originally believed that Daemon was referring to the dormant potential within Himawari rather than the actual “intense”Bijuu chakra.
After the confirmation that Kurama’s chakra had been residing within Himawari all along, it is logical to conclude that the sensation Daemon experienced was indeed from the nine-tailed fox’s chakra. Given Daemon’s immense strength, it is not surprising that he was the only one able to detect it, despite Naruto, Boruto, Kawaki, and other skilled ninja failing to do so.
Daemon is undeniably one of the most powerful characters in Boruto. While he rarely displays his abilities, it is evident that he would not hesitate to utilize them to protect his sister Eida. If Himawari were to become the next jinchuriki of Kurama, she could potentially reach the same level of strength as Daemon.
