This iconic McDonald’s item is finally coming to the US

Great news for McDonald’s lovers – the renowned fast food chain plans to introduce their highly sought-after Chicken Big Mac, which was previously only sold internationally, to the US market by 2024.

The delicious snack has been gaining popularity in the UK, and for those who love the McChicken, it will be a perfect choice.

In a taste test video released in March, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski hinted at the upcoming launch of this burger, stating that it would be similar to the classic Big Mac.

Kempczinski highlighted in his video that the new burger offers a unique crunch, unlike the regular Big Mac.

Yes, you heard it right, it’s the Chicken Big Mac. The announcement of this US release was made by popular food blogger Snackolator on their Instagram page on Monday, August 26, and it caused quite a stir among fans eagerly awaiting the new burger.

The burger is identical to the classic Big Mac, with the only difference being that customers can enjoy two chicken fillets, similar to those in a McChicken, topped with cheese, pickles, lettuce, and the signature Big Mac sauce.

The Chicken Big Mac is periodically introduced in both the UK and Australia, often resulting in high demand and selling out quickly. After undergoing a successful test run in Miami in late 2022, fans are ecstatic to hear that it will soon be available nationwide.

“A US commenter stated that they had tried it in the UK and found it to be very tasty.”

Despite McDonald’s not announcing an official release date, popular TikTok chef @phatphood commented that we can anticipate seeing this item in restaurants on September 30.

“Last year, we had it in Canada and it was surprisingly good. According to another commentator, it’s similar to a large chicken nugget with the toppings of a Big Mac.”

The Big Arch burger, which was previously only available in selected US McDonald’s restaurants, is now being officially launched in Canada. This marks a significant step towards its eventual nationwide release.
