A video of THIS idol before his debut gained popularity on TikTok after viewers observed his reaction during a social experiment.
On May 12, a video of RIIZE Sohee with the caption “pure-hearted boy”was shared among K-pop fans after being posted by a TikTok user.
The clip that has recently resurfaced is actually a snippet from a social experiment video conducted by South Korean YouTube creators in 2021.
Despite the toxicity and negativity prevalent in society, the videos captured the presence of kind-hearted individuals and citizens who selflessly extend their help to those in need without expecting anything in return.
The videos are recorded without the knowledge of the subjects. Those who have given their consent will be shown in the videos, while those who have not will be blurred out.
During the test, the actor portrayed a middle school student who was assigned vacation homework that required him to take a picture with his family. However, the actor later disclosed that he had lost his mother and his father was disabled, causing him to feel embarrassed about taking a photo with him.
Despite the majority of citizens choosing to ignore the actor, there was a young man in a white shirt who was wearing a mask. He happily agreed to pose as the middle school student’s family, even going as far as asking for the student’s age.
Despite not having debuted at the time, fans who saw the video and photo of RIIZE Sohee with a kid quickly realized that it was indeed him. Even though he was wearing a mask, it was still evident that it was him.
In light of this, fans and K-pop enthusiasts cannot help but be moved by the idol’s genuine kindness off-camera. Amidst the numerous celebrities who have been exposed for their negative behavior, BRIIZEs can rest assured in Sohee’s genuine and pure heart, which has been evident even before their debut.

Their impact in Japan was recently demonstrated through the successful completion of a fan convention. From May 11 to 12, their first solo event held overseas, “2024 RIIZE FAN-CON ‘RIIZING DAY’ in TOKYO,”received an overwhelming amount of support and cheers, solidifying their presence in the country.
