From the start, Human has been dedicated to improving the players’ experience. As part of their ongoing efforts, they continuously introduce expansions that include mini-games and events.
One notable current event is the Cargo Scramble, which has been a popular topic of discussion. This new PvP event was recently introduced in the game Once Human as part of a recent patch. It allows players to work together to collect rewards without any negative consequences. Overall, it is an enjoyable and lighthearted experience.
1. Joining the Cargo Scramble Event in Once Human
To participate in the Once Human Cargo Scramble event, locate the “Cargo Scramble”truck icon on the map and head to the designated location.
Participating in the Cargo Scramble event is surprisingly easy. Simply consult your map and travel towards the location marked by a red mark on the bottom-left of the map to find an ongoing Cargo Scramble.
It can prove challenging as there is no designated time for this event to take place. Therefore, players must continuously check their maps to increase their chances of joining multiple scrambles. Be on the lookout for the arrival of the truck filled with goodies!
Please be aware that this is a unique PvP event and not a typical party event. As a result, you will not be able to fast-travel to the scramble location. You will need to physically make your way there on foot.
2. How to Participate in a Cargo Scramble Event?
During a Cargo Scramble competition, participants must chase and attack a moving truck until it stops. A jelly creature will appear and possess a random player, becoming the host. Holding onto the jelly will earn points for the Sproutlets, but it can also be taken from the host by other players.
Cargo Scramble can be divided into two main stages – the first involves pursuing and disabling the truck in order to bring it to a stop. It is essential to have a vehicle prepared if you plan on chasing after the moving truck.
As you approach the truck, a marker will indicate its distance from you. When you arrive at the truck, dismount and continuously fire your guns to defeat it. The truck’s HP will vary based on the spawn level.
The next step is to lower the truck, at which point the jelly will choose a participant and barriers will be raised, transforming the area into a PvP arena. The goal is to retain possession of the blob for as long as possible.
The blob is susceptible to theft by other players. Additionally, a timer is in place for the next infection, during which the jelly will transfer to a new host. Once the Sproutlet storage reaches 0%, the event will come to a close.
How to Use the Sproutlets
Through the Cargo Scramble event, players can acquire Sproutlets which can then be utilized to obtain rare items from Nisa at any safe camp.
Nisa’s location is typically at a secure campsite, easily recognizable by the glowing pink mushroom on her head. The items in her shop vary in price, ranging from two Sproutlets (Acid) to 10,000 (Street Style). The image above depicts the interior of her store.
