Despite taking a 3-year hiatus, this idol and soloist caused concern among fans when only 2 albums were sold on the first day of release.
On May 28, after a break of 2 years and 7 months, singer Taeho returned to the music industry. He released his 3rd single album, along with the digital single “For Your Brilliant Day,”through multiple music platforms on the same day.
The song showcased the idol’s strong vocal abilities as they sang a lively tune with a catchy melody, accompanied by a refreshing rock sound and band arrangement.
This song is ideal for the summer season as it also radiates positivity and warmth through its lyrics.
To launch his active promotion of the digital single, he demonstrated his live vocal abilities by appearing on various music shows such as SBS’s “The Show”and MBC’s “Show! Music Core”and “Show Champion.”
Despite Taeho’s highly anticipated release of his 3rd single album and physical album, it did not meet the expected result in terms of sales despite initial interest.
Typically, the initial day should have the highest sales as fans tend to purchase in bulk in order to boost first-day sales.
According to the Hanteo chart, only 2 copies of Taeho’s album were sold on its release date of May 29th.
Despite the expectation of an increase on the second day, he was only able to achieve 15 sales on May 30th.

It was disheartening for fans to witness, and other K-pop enthusiasts shared the same sentiment, as the album was highly praised and the singer’s dedication and hard work were evident in the release of the exceptional song and album.
Despite not being a rookie, Taeho is still often perceived as one due to his initial debut as a K-pop star in 2016 with IMFACT. This can be a source of confusion.
Taeho gained recognition for his impressive vocals, particularly after joining KBS’s “The Unit”in 2017 and “Sing Again”in 2021, contributing to their overall success.

Regrettably, IMFACT departed from Star Empire in 2022 and despite not officially disbanding, they have not released any new music since 2020. Following his departure from his previous agency, Taeho joined HAM to focus on his solo career.
Upon witnessing his latest performance, fans were reminded of his debut as a soloist with “GGOMA”and noted that it was not as subpar as his 3rd single album. This left them questioning the reason for the decline in quality.
At that moment, Taeho’s loyal supporters expressed confusion through their comments regarding the source of sales, as the singer had only released a digital single.
It was surprising to learn that many of them had not realized that he had also made a physical copy available.
