Meeting a K-pop superstar by chance has the power to transform an ordinary day into an unforgettable memory. For Jane Chen, a Chinese model and Instagram influencer, this magical moment occurred unexpectedly on a busy set, where she came face-to-face with none other than Lisa from BLACKPINK.
On May 13, Jane, who resides in South Korea, shared on her social media the story of how she unexpectedly met the famous K-pop idol. What started as a regular eight-hour fitting session transformed into a rare chance to work together with one of the biggest stars in the entertainment world.
“I thought for a very long time who it was but had no idea,”Jane confessed to her followers, reflecting on the moments leading up to the revelation. “Once I reached the set, they told me it was Lisa and I wanted to cry!! Lisa sat next to me eating while her makeup was being done. I couldn’t even breathe.”
Although initially surprised, Jane promptly recognized Lisa’s friendly nature and humble disposition.
“She tried on five outfits and started the shoot. I didn’t even dare to breathe next to her,”Jane recalled. “But there was no diva bone in her body as Lisa made sure to thank everyone on set.”
Despite being unable to share a photo of her meeting with Lisa, Jane kept fans intrigued by offering a sneak peek into their encounter. She shared a picture of the lavish dressing room they met in, complete with all the necessary accessories and clothing befitting a K-pop sensation, causing a surge of excitement among BLACKPINK’s devoted followers.

“Before she left she said, ‘Thank you for coming,’”Jane shared, emphasizing Lisa’s graciousness towards everyone involved in the shoot.
As Jane said her goodbyes to the set, she couldn’t resist complimenting Lisa and acknowledging the incredible opportunity she had been given.
